Quantum Break looks great.
Wait a minute. The next Tomb Raider is Xbox exclusive???
It obviously depends when the PS5 gets released. If it releases in the next 5 years I'd say most devs will probably go for something in between like 2560 x 1440 for graphically demanding games up to 4k for smaller 2D games for example.
I think a full jump to 4k is rather unlikely.
I'm in the same boat. After having played TLOUR I'm very interessted in the Uncharted series to say the least. I'd really like to play Uncharted 1-3 just to know who the characters are and what happened to them in the first three games.
I agree. I'll count on at least 2 new major reveals. If it's more then hell yeah, if not then the one reveal better be something mindblowing.
Edit: GG's new IP is a safe bet imo cause they said they had an announcement trailer ready for E3 if they needed it.
Yessss!!!
This is one of my most anticipated games. I mean I already was counting on gameplay at Gamescom but now that it's official the hype gets real.
Omg thanks.
I almost would've missed it. I could've sworn that the conferences were on thursday.
This gamescom really sneaked up on me. I've almost forgotten that it's so close until I saw an article about it last week or so. And now it's just a couple of hours away.
Anyway helpful bubble for you. And thanks to the article submitter as well. I'm so hyped now.
That was the game that I originally had a X1 preorder for. Since I cancelled my X1 preorder I never got the chance to play this game. I might pick it up on PC at some point.
Too soon? We don't know when they decide to announce it (unless I missed something). It could very well be a 2016 or even a 2017 game.
Looks great. It's kinda hard to believe that the game runs on the Unreal Engine.
@ThatOneGuyThere: To be fair that was just a trailer with very a close up view on the face. I highly doubt that the actual in game model will look this highly detailed once there are multiple characters on screen and once there is more going on in general.
If however Naughty Dog somehow manages to pull off this quality at 1080p/60fps with some kind of sorcery, consider my mind irreversibly blown.
Yeah that was hilarious. It reminded me of some of the Xbox fanboys on this site.
I've just finished the game yesterday and today I've finished the DLC. All I have to say to the people that are trying to downplay this game is: You can't play down a masterpiece. You can try but you'll only embarrass yourself.
Yeah Naughty Dog is definately right on top of my radar now. That's why I hope for the Uncharted collection. I could play it with a friend on his PS3 (I'm pretty sure he has the Uncharted games). Or I'll play them once PSNow launches in europe. One way or another, I definately want to play the Uncharted games.
Thanks for the link. Will definately check it out later.
You're correct. I didn't own a console last gen so I missed out on all the games that weren't on PC. That's why I hope for more HD remasters for the best games of the PS3 era. I'd take a subscribtion model for PSNow as well.
I've just finshed the game 3 hours ago. I'm completely blown away by the presentation. The storytelling and acting is on another level compared to pretty much everything I've ever played.
I haven't played a Naughty Dog game since Crash 3. Suddenly Uncharted 4 is my most anticipated game. I really hope that Sony makes an Uncharted collection for the PS4.
I still haven't played the DLC so I'm still looking foreward to that.
Just PLEASE, don't screw up Far Cry 4.
Halo Collection and GTAV remastered will most likely get some 10/10 scores.
On topic: Nice to see that the framerate is stable. Definately going for 60fps then.
So far my personal Goty is Dark Souls 2 followed by Infamous: SS, Watch Dogs and Wolfenstein.
Good that there are some potentially great games still ahead of us in 2014: Last of Us Remastered, Infamous: First Light, Destiny, Driveclub, Ori and The Blind Forest, The Evil Within, GTA V, The Crew, LittleBigPlanet 3, Far Cry 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Project CARS.
Edit: I only included PC and PS4 (multiplatform included) games because I don't own any other ...
I think so too. It's crazy that Microsoft keeps spending money on "exclusives" when they'll probably come to PC (and maybe PS4) eventually.
I think they should concentrate more on first party exclusives that stay on X1.
