Yeah no way of knowing for now however it'll probably be the first one of the gen to be up for discussion for gotg at the end of the gen if that makes any sense (judging by the scores so far). Witcher 3 was awesome but I doubt people will mention it for GotG in a couple of years. The next contender might be right around the corner with Fallout 4 though.
This isn't twitch bro.
And at night it's colder than outside.
I have to disagree. The close up really bothers me. and the combat looks like it needs a lot of work imo. I really like the atmosphere though.
@donthate: Dynamic resolution is a horrible approach to maintain a stable framerate imo. I'd rather have lower quality visuals with a set 1920x1080 resolution and a stable framerate.
Even though you enjoyed Titanfall despite it's low res doesn't mean that resolution doesn't matter. Just because listening to Mozart through a crappy mobile speaker is more enjoyable than listening to Nicky Minaj through a high end system doesn't change the fact that the high ...
I understand the excitement however I'd rather wait and see. If it all works out like it has been shown it's a great achievement but we've yet to see it working under load once hundreds of thousands of people are using the cloud processing at the same time.
@Rimeskeem: I'd buy a Bigfoot in a heartbeat. Are they for sale yet?
MS would probably have more first party franchises by now. Better late than never though. It's inmpressive how he has changed the image of the company in such a short amount of time.
@Dewitt: I haven't watched the video yet cause I'm at work. I'll watch later. I can imagine if the whole city is destroyed it'll take a lot of processing power (especially if the building parts stay on the map for the whole time).
Seems like the cloud is needed to handle the sheer amount of destruction - not the quality of the physical processing.
Not sure if this was already clarified or not but afaik the cloud processing could be for the multiplayer only anyway. When XBL goes down or your local internet connection has a problem you can't play multiplayer anyway so that's not really a problem.
The destruction isn't really bar setting anyway imo. I don't know why they need the cloud for that tbh. If they showed the game saying it rendered completely on the X1 I might have been pleasantly surprised but I...
Why complain. 2015 is an awesome year for gaming. We're getting a huge amount of great games in the same year. Remasters are a bonus.
I'll wait for the Collection. But it'll be my first time playing the Uncharted franchise as well.
There's no need for anything in games or films, when it adds absolutely nothing to the story or expirience.
It's the first time I heard that the game sold over 3 million copies. Are those numbers official? I honestly would be happy about that if it was true cause I quite enjoyed the game and would like to see a sequel.
I'm not so much ashamed for having played SingStar as I am sorry for the people that were listening to it.
And Lego games are fun. No need to be ashamed for playing them imo.
Is it possible to understand what's going on story-wise without having played the predecessors?
I'm thinking about picking it up but I haven't played any GoW games before. I'd really like them to do a collection of the previous games for the PS4 like they're doing with Uncharted.
Most gamers play more than one genre. A lot of people that are looking foreward to TR are also looking foreward to Fallout 4. Some will have to decide between the two and I assume most people will go with Fallout 4.
The outfits is the last thing I'd worry about. I just wanna see if they've managed to merge both franchises successfully. Curious to see how they've handled projectile characters.
I agree with PixelGate here. Kojima probably wants as many people to expirience his swan song to Metal Gear as possible. Imagine working for so many years on the last entry of a franchise you've worked your whole life on with passion. The finished game is what matters the most for me and I'm going to buy it day one knowing that I'll be giving money to Konami.
If they decide to continue MGS without Kojima I won't buy that. That'll send a clear message.
