Trophies do have sound effects. I've heard them myself. It's just that they don't always make a sound. Just like xbox achievements don't always make a sound when earned.
After the mess that EA made of the ps3 version of the Orange Box as well as their refusal to make a patch to fix the problems there is no way I would even consider buying the ps3 version of this game.
EA are s**t and their customer service is disgraceful. You can guarantee that if the ps3 port has problems then EA will not fix them. As far as they are concerned once they've got your money you can go f**k yourslef

PC gaming is dead. I used to be a PC gamer but got sick of having to upgrade or buy a new PC to keep up with the latest games.
Gaming PC's are just too expensive. Eventually people get fed up with having to spend money on upgrades.
MS wouldn't allow installs to become mandatory for the simple fact that they would piss off casual gamers who own the arcade or the core console.
I had firmware 2.40 and now I have firmware 2.41. There is no forth tab listing last game played. Either this article is a spoof or the forth tab is in certain countries only.

Apparently the ps3's BD drive only reads at something like half the speed of the 360's DVD drive. So if installs were banned you would get a situation where all games on the xbox load twice as fast as they do on the ps3.
I'm glad games install on the ps3.

Keep your 360 and buy a ps3.
2 consoles means more choice for games. And you don't have to worry about games that are exclusive to one console.

Why can't the government just pick one ratings board for games and stick to it. They are just trying to push the prices up so they can earn more tax becuase higher prices means more VAT paid.
WTF is this site going on about. The 360 was no where near extinct before GTA4 came out. It was still selling well.
In fact I don't think there will be any real losers in the generations console war.
And GTA should never be exclusive to any format. If Rockstar had have made the game exclusive to just one format they would have lost a lot of money. Being multi-platform is the best thing for the GTA franchise.

The game shops nowadays don't allocate much shelf space to PC games becuase hardly anyone buys them anymore. Instead they copy them or download illegal copies off the internet. Fanboys will always say their consoles version is superior even if it's not. Until you've seen both versions running side by side you can't compare them. The PSN store is still crap when compared to the xbox live marketplace.
Just compare the ammount of content on the UK xbox live marketplace and the UK PSN store. You'll see how poor the PSN store really is. Sony need to get off their ass and start caring about their european customers. America gets loads of new content while europe gets sod all.

That is not the genuine UK box.
For a start the 18 certificate symbol on the front of the box is too small.
By law the BBFC 18 logos have to be quite big on video game boxes.
Only an idiot you change his hard drive without backing up any saves he wants to keep.
There is no way he could have 41GB worth of saves. If he used common sense he would have backed up just the saves and then he could have redownloaded the other content later.
I had a hard time noticing any difference. I didn't notice any framerate issues or jaggies on either version.
Some scenes looked better to me on the ps3 and some looked better on the 360.
If people didn't pirate PC games then there would be no need for Draconian DRM.
If I owned a games company I would be so pissed off with piracy that I would stop releasing games for the PC.
