Strange, I have a few games on my xbox one that are 1080P.
I agree the xbox one isn't quite as powerful as the ps4 but to say no games can get 1080P is total bullshit.
In fact there are ps4 games that are not 1080P. So xbox one isn't exactly alone in having some games at lower resolution.
I would prefer to hear comments about DX12 from multiplatform 3rd party developers.
Naughty Dog are owned by Sony, have no experience programing for xbox so are not qualified to comment on DX12 or xbox. Anything they say is biased.
Bungie don't hate Xbox. It's because Sony offered them more money for the exclusive content.
It's a business deal. Nothing more.
The same goes with Insomniac. I've always associated them with playstation then they make Sunset Overdrive for xbox one. Again it's not because they hate Sony, it's another business deal.
The only way to patch it would be to remove voice commands. Besides it's not a bug or anything. The Xbox is just doing what it was designed to do.
Most people won't be effected by it any because most will have the TV boxes connected to the Xbox and be watching TV through that. Xbox on won't do anything then.
The winner is the gamer who owns all next gen consoles.
I saw both MS and Sony conferences. Both showed games I want.
The runner up is the gamer who owns one console but is not a total fanboy.
The losers are the sad pathetic fanboys who worship either the Sony or MS console while hating the other because they're the ones who miss out on the great exclusives on both consoles.
None of the next gen consoles won or lost e3.
Both consoles had good press conferences.
The internet is full of fanboy articles saying one console won over the other but in reality it all depends what games you like the most and whether there is a bias for Sony or Microsoft.
The only winners are the gamers especially the ones who own both consoles.
Microsoft know the Xbox one isn't going to do well in Japan.
They just want a presence in Japan to lure Japanese developers.
As for Sony not doing well that's quite surprising but then PlayStation has become quite westernised considering most of its games are north American or European and for some reason the Japanese don't seem to like western games.
I'm having a hard time noticing any difference apart from brightness.
I have both consoles and i'm choosing to get the ps4 version, but it's not because of graphics, it's because of the exclusive content that the ps4 version gets.
Desperate or not.
This is a good move by Microsoft.
Most Sony fanboys wont agree but competition is good for us gamers.
If MS do ever lose the war you can say goodbye to free games on Playstation Plus. If Xbox didn't exist then Sony would have no incentive to keep giving us free games every month.
At the same time if ps4 didn't exist then MS wouldn't need to lower prices, unbundle kinect or give us games with gold...
Totally agree.
All the hate from the ps4 fanboys over the last few months has ruined the comments sections of gaming websites. They make ps4 owners look like a bunch of immature idiots.
But where is all the hate now that an increasing amount of ps4 games are getting locked at 30fps. Even some games getting patched to lock the frame rate.
All this hate should just stop.
Oh the irony.
If an X1 game only gets 30fps all the Sony Fanboys are on here in force talking crap about how not getting 60FPS makes a game inferior.
But as it's a ps4 game it's perfectly fine.
Lol, You want google to bring a console?
You do realise that google spy on everything you do for their own selfish purposes?
I recently checked my google account and found out they have been recording my entire search history since 2005 including every website I visited using google Chrome.
I would imagine that a google console would be recording everything you do and every game you play just to bombard you with relevant advertising.
...
I hope so.
I have both next gen consoles and can't play my music on either unless I use a CD or the play-to function on my Laptop to stream the music to my xbox.
Hopefully this rumour is true.
If true it will also be good news to xbox owners because Microsoft will be forced to follow suit and add the feature as well.
The install times depend on the speed of your internet as updates are downloaded during the install.
I own both consoles and the install system is better on the ps4 as you dont have to wait for updates to finish installing before being allowed to play unless you want top play multiplayer.
I do like the xbox one app system though and the Kinect.
There are things both consoles do thats better than the other so personally I like both machines th...
I own both consoles and find that both consoles are just as good as eachother when the weaknesses and strengths of each are balanced out.
Xbox is better in some ways and ps4 is better in others.
Anyone who says otherwise is just a fanboy with a bias for the console they own.
It's not just about which console sells the more units.
It's about which console manufacturer pays Activision for the exclusivity deals.
If MS offer Activision enough money the DLC deal will stay with Xbox.
For the ps4 to be the lead platform Sony would have to give activision a lot of money.
Would Sony be willing to do that?
They are not exactly financially healthy. Only recently they have been laying off peo...
Or don't become a beta tester.
Most xbox one owners wont get these disc drive problems because we beta testers found the bugs for them.
And if you think the ps4 wont ever get a bug like this in system software then you are deluding yourself. I don't know if Sony do beta tests or not but they should do
Better to beta test system software than release it to everyone causing bricked consoles.
Because they would need thousands of testers to do it themselves and as testers wouldn't use the console like a normal person does they would be less likely to notice unforeseen bugs.
I'm one of these testers and when I signed up I knew there may be unforeseen consequences.
I also own a ps4 and that also has its bugs. Maybe Sony should beta test system updates as well.
Totally agree
PSN can't even cope with the beta.
I've been trying to start the Destiny Beta for an hour and a half now and just get a can't start application error.
If PSN can't cope now imagine how bad it's going to be when the full game is released
