It's no big deal.

Japan doesn't like western games and Xbox caters mostly for the west.

Actually Japan doesn't really like consoles anymore. Even ps4 isn't doing as well as previous generations.
They prefer mobile games there

This appears to be a cheap attempt at advertising.

External USB hard drive support has been available months.

Yes reading between the lines that's what happened.

I have both consoles and know that the previous deal with Microsoft didn't harm sales of the playstation version as I had Ghosts on both consoles and the online population was at least 50% higher on ps4.

It makes no difference to activision which console has the deal because it doesn't really effect sales.

The fact is Activision are a business and Sony offered them more money for...

The xbox one will be 2nd place this whole generation.

ps4 has too much of a lead for xbox to recover but even being second place the xbox one is still selling well.

Actually being second place has been good for xbox owners. It's being second place that has brought us backwards compatibility and other features. Being the most popular console makes you arrogant because you don't need to work as hard to get customers. Being second place means you work ha...

More likely Microsoft weren't really interested in renewing the deal.

The exclusivity with xbox last time didn't harm sales of the playstation version so Activision would have been quite willing to take Microsoft moneys if they offered it.

The fact is the COD is losing it's appeal so Microsoft didn't make any effort to get the deal. If they did they could have quite easily outbid Sony.

They actually probably see it as a compet...

Who in the right mind would donate to a Kickstarter funded by Sony?

If Sony want this game to be an exclusive then they alone should be funding it. Not Kickstarter.

Anyone who donates to this are idiots. You are basically just giving money to Sony as the more Kickstarter raises the less they have to pay out.

Here we go again. Another artical by a jealous ps4 fanboy.
The fact that it's in the ps4 section of n4g tells me loads.

If this game wasn't an exclusive this artical wouldn't exist.

@Dee_Cazo

I loved Mass Effect 2 as well but everything you did in ME1 and ME2 was for nothing in end due to Mass Effect 3's horrible Deus Ex type endings

@Jackstraw

FF7 didn't go to a microsoft console because there was no microsoft console in 1997.

It did go to a microsoft windows though so technically not an exclusive

A remaster of a 1997 game with repetetive random battles does not wipe the floor of anything?

What is sony's facination of remasters?

Why not MS method of backwards compatibility?

The emulation is excellent. Some games perform better on the x1 than they did on the 360.

I would much rather emulation than ps now.

Also whats having an emulator on the console got to do with piracy?

I'm massively impressed with the backwards compatibility. Being in the preview program I've tried a few games including Mass Effect

Was expecting games to look downgraded like they do when playing original xbox games on the 360.

But they have done an amazing job.

Mass Effect 1 is the best in the series. Absolutely love the storyline and have replayed it at least 10 times. Personally I hated Mass Effect 3. The ending especially ruined the whole series for me. I ended up wishing that ME3 was never made. Have never been able to replay it and have never bought the DLC for it.

This is the one game i'm really looking forward to this year.

Already pre-ordered and am looking forward to installing PC mods on my xbox one

@Ultimatemaster

What you say about Sony having nothing to do with this is absolute nonsense.

There is no way that any video game publisher would alienate a proportion of their customers by making them wait one month for DLC unless they were paid for it.

There would be no benefit whatsoever to activision unless they are being paid.

The fact is Sony offered more money than Microsoft. It's just business and nothing to do wi...

I don't care. If I get COD will still get it on xbox anyway even though I own a ps4. It's only DLC anyway

3869d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

Well I do want to play 360 games. I have quite a large library of games for it.

Just because I own an Xbox one and PS4 doesn't mean I don't want to play my 360 or ps3 games any more.

Backwards compatibilty means one less console taking up space in my tv stand.

A bit too early to say that especially as Sony have a few hours to try to save their E3.

I'm curious on whether Fallout 4 will get mods on ps4

3871d ago 7 agree10 disagreeView comment

Mods for fallout 4, backwards compatibility for 360 games.

So far E3 is looking good for xbox one.

3871d ago 18 agree8 disagreeView comment

Just seen on E3.

The xbox one version will allow mods just like the PC version.

All user created content on the PC version can be transferred to the xbox one version
