It's a shame. It's a great game.
It should have had it's own release week but instead got totally overshadowed by fallout 4.
poor decision by microsoft and square enix. What made it even worse is fallout was released 3 days before TR in th UK meaning most who don't preorder would have been too busy playing fallout to even notice TR was out.
It still would have sold poorly as a ps4 exclusive although obviously not as poorly.

Even if it does allow discs how many people still have a library of ps2 games to take advantage of it?
I would much rather be able to play ps3 games on my ps4.

The big question is will it be real backwards compatibility where you can put a ps2 disc in the ps4 and play the game without having to pay?

If I owned a publishing studio and had a game coming out for multiple platforms I would want it advertised for all.
Yeah just means if your internet goes down or xbox live goes down then you can't play your own games because someone else has their console set as your home console.

A poster is good. Still wish they came with manuals through. Always used to like reading them when getting new games.
Most of my game purchases are digital now.
There was a time the physical copies came with manuals which made them worth collecting. Now the only reason to get disc is the are often cheaper than digital.
So now the only disc based games I buy are single player games I may only play through once.
For multiplayer or games that will get a lot of use like fallout 4 I get digital.

If it had been released as a PS4 exclusive instead it still wouldn't have topped the UK charts. It just can't compete with Fallout 4.

Na. Tomb Raider and Fallout are two different types of games.
Even if it doesn't sell as well to begin with due to Fallout they can make up sales at Christmas.
Although that will depend on it getting good reviews.
Personally I've pre-ordered both although I don't think tomb raider is released until Friday in the UK so get 3 days to play Fallout before Tomb Raider is released.

The ps4's top shooters are multiplatform.
My PS4 only gets used for single player games like Until Dawn, Infamous and last of us
For multiplayer I always use my xbox.
I actually have Destiny and Advanced warfare on both ps4 and xbox one. I have more fun on the xbox one versions of both games.

First of all you should have read the warnings before signing up. This is beta and some features are still missing and some just plain broke. Anyone who signs up only has themselves to blame if they end up regretting it because they didn't read the warning.

It's not hard at all to find anything. It's just that it is beta and has a lot of problems that still need to be fixed.
Now if my ps3 dies I wont be able to replace it and will lose access to my games.

The fact is the more popular console gets the most Fifa sales. Last gen it was the 360. This gen its ps4.
I own both the xbox one and ps4 and play on them both regularly.
I also have a 47 inch tv and the graphical differences between both are so minor that I just don't care.
To me it looks like all these comparison articles are designed with one purpose only. They're clickbait to make money on advertising revenue by getting fanboys to read them and slag each other off in the comments sections.
