If you have a 360 and have played either Forza2 or PGR4... You probably didn't even read these comments and went straight to preorder.
For those who don't own a 360, yes, those 2 games really are THAT bad.
And I don't know about you, put it makes me cringe just to think about fake products in GTA such as Sprunk being replaced with real products like Coke...
Take-Two needs to stay independent.
I doubt it... If it does, that'll be great.
Watch Transformer on their small computer monitor!??!? Some of us have large Plasma and LCD displays as well as expensive sound systems that they bought especially for movies like this.
Has the decency to hold the 360 up on a platter only when it's clear the multiplatform version is superior to the PS3.
The PS3 version of DMC4 is clearly superior and you're just spreading lies.
If you infact witnessed the PS3 version being weaker in comparison, post the link to a video that shows that. Guess what?!?! You aren't going to!
Why? SIMPLY because you are lying and the PS3 version is better!
If I pirate a game and actually play it, I buy it. If I pirate a game and play it once, then I don't. I treat my pirated games as demos and if I actually play them for any length of time, I'm obligated to purchase them.
I have a 60" Plasma Pioneer Kuro PDP-6010, which is one of the best displays you can buy, and there is a huge difference.
In response to 1ups review. All issues except for the screen tearing are minor to me. If it occurs regularly I think they would've noticed it but we'll see what other sites have to say.
Because screen tears are painfully obvious to me and it bothers me when I see them.
As much as I love Uncharted, I can't stand it when the screen tearing occurs.
I guess we'll have to wait for some other sites (IGN) to know for sure.
Bottom line is, it can't hurt Sony... Maybe the companies that are putting them out, but at the end of the day, it can only sell more PS3s.
Since the US is the only country with Millions who love to play FPSs, it could get them to buy into a PS3.
I think that's Sony's line of thinking. Let those people who love Halo and COD4 look on the other side and see a number of games that may not be better, but there are just so many and so much more variety, it'll have ...
I think the PS3 is doing it out of necessity though... It doesn't have Halo, so there are 4 or more other games that satisy the FPS hunger.
It does seem like the PS3 has just about everything covered this year. Most exclusives look VERY strong and tower over the 360s offerings, i.e MGS4 is much better than the same old same old Splinter Cell,
GT5 much better than Forza
Little Big Planet, 360 has nothing
Final Fantasy and versus, much better than lost Odys...
If M$ mandates that the must run without a HD then guess what?!?!
The game must run without a HD.
And since Crysis can't run wihout a HD guess what?
It won't come out for the 360... Until what?!?!
M$ says it will allow the game to run with a HD.
The PS3 is THE reason Blu-ray has won the format war which will make Sony Billions. If Sony had to do it all over again, they wouldn't have changed a thing...
He is sorry that he told people to buy HD-DVD and wasted their money on a dead format.
Do a search on his name. I emailed him when Warner went Blu, and asked him if he was going to issue an apology. He didn't respond, but I guess this is it.
and the D/L speed sucks. How do they look?!?
Then it would be LPM360
I seriously laughed out when I read that...
I can't believe you actually thought that saying originated on a TV show.
Because HD-DVD lost the format war... Your choice is to buy a cheap obsolete HD-DVD player that won't play the latest movies. Or you can reach into your wallet and buy a Blu-ray player or PS3 and know you didn't just flush your money down the toilet.
While the game might not be perfect... For what you get, it's an amazing deal.
My prediction. The story ALONE, will have IGN giving it a 9.8.
