They're going to be pissed at any site that gives it anything less than a 10/10.
The only con being no ODST multiplayer. Not a con that the graphics/engine is tired and old... Not a con that you're paying $60 for a 5 hour expansion pack with a few new maps.
I'm going to echo the phrase, Lets wait for the real gaming sites, i.e., IGN.
My history suggests that I'm a Sony fanboy and I should be cheering for inFamous.
However, I played both and I thought Prototype was a far better game... Maybe I just like wildly violent games, but Prototype is THAT GOOD!!! That game is a flatout 9.5. IGN and a few others want to knock it down and I'm not sure why.
I'm all for free speech and everything, but there is something wrong when someone is allowed to have credentials (CGI artist), allegedly "expose the truth" and be allowed to remain ANONYMOUS.
The equivalence of myself telling a website I'm a doctor and I want to expose the lies about cancer, etc.

This is a lot better than I expected with a gaming console. These are PC quality graphics.
This game definitely raises the bar graphically and is going to be the new standard to which all games will be compared to.
Just got it about 6 hours ago, stuck to MP for now... When people say this game has good graphics... They aren't lying...
Great game... But I think the reason it's not getting mentioned is the other games are more high profile. Great time to own a PS3.

I have both consoles/games and a 60" Pioneer Kuro plasma.
Gears doesn't even come close to Killzone 2 graphically...

If the question were, "what two games on any console have the best graphics"
The answer would MGS4 and Killzone 2.
Edge giving Killzone 2 a 7/10 might generate some hits for a short period, but in the long term, having lost all of their credibility will eventually hurt them.
I think they tried to pull a Eurogamer/MGS4, which put Eurogamer on the map.
However the US is full of FPS geeks and they all saw right through their BS.
And believe/think Uncharted has better graphics than Killzone 2...

I played through the demo and thought it was quite dull. I could be wrong, I would have to have played the MP to confirm my thoughts.

I commented that they are contradicting themselves when saying "No forum users have produced a screen shot" and then the site admin says in the comments that basically they have seen a screenshot and they can't prove it hasn't been photoshoped. Gimme a break.
Note the comment that says "awaiting moderation" though other comments have been allowed.
