Paramount just went HD-DVD exlcusive and now people are buying HD players up. If you go to Amazon.com, HD-DVD sales are in the lead right now.
I said I would try.
But no, Bluray is winning, and will win unless HD-DVD gets Warner to go HD-DVD exclusive. I guess the best statement would be.
If things stay the status quo, Bluray will win the format war.
Where you would get together with 2-3 friends and have a few things planned, but then you play Warhawk and then at some point you look outside and are surprised it's light out.

I think you need a Psychiatrist to tell your long winded stories to. Not a gaming forum.
If the game allows you to install it on your PS3, like Ninja Gaiden Sigma did, then it could be just as fast or faster.
You won't see many PS3ers hanging around these boards once it's released.
But you guys are going to get owned when I get back on the 7th.
If the PS3 ever gets a good game they'll sell 2 million consoles in one day easy.
The 360 could come out with a 4 dimensional graphic RPG in Japanese and it still wouldn't sell any consoles.
Blu-ray supporter here... If Paramount wants to go HD-DVD and do without any of SS films than go ahead and do it. They don't have much without him. I'll wait for them to come crawling back to Blu-ray.
Right now they have a 2:1 lead over HD-DVD in disk sales and there are about 5 million PS3s out there that can play Blu-ray movies.
Microsoft's HD-DVD add on isn't even selling. By the time the holiday is over There will be over 7 million Blu-ray players and you'll be lucky to see 2 million HD-DVD players sold.
Current HD-DVD players won't be able to play these new disks that are being made with the already superior Blu-ray disks.
So basically what HD-DVD is saying is, "Everyone go out and buy new players because we've just come out with disks that are JUST AS GOOD as Blu-ray disks"
I already have chosen the superior Blu-ray format.
Looks like about a 9.0/10.0... I think it's going to be great to play and I'm buying it right away.
That being said, the reviewing site is a PS3 fan site and they gave Call of Duty a high score, so I'll wait to see the IGN etc. reviews but I'm still buying.
Everytime something like this happens we have to get some VP out of bed or cut his three hour lunch break short to tell the respective camps to relax and everything is going to be fine if you quit crying.
Wouldn't it be more fun to have the ability to blow them away in the game?!?!?!
Target and Walmart the nations 2 top chains won't be selling HD-DVD players in store. Just Blu-Ray. So on top of everything else HD-DVD has going against it, especially lack of good titles this xmas, this just adds up to the insurmountable lead.
IGN gave Warhawk an 8.8 and that's what it deserved due to no multiplayer which makes it a bit hard to learn unless you're already a pro at FPS/TPS.
Great game, I've already logged 20+ hours.
EDIT: As for flop. The 360 doesn't have multiplayer game comparable to warhawk or a better multiplayer game period. All you can say on the 360 is wait for Halo.
