Who cares about exclusives anyway? The games I enjoy most are multiplat anyway.

Not a psychic, but I doubt they need a new engine, they still have punch left. So a 450$ pc should play it.
There are a lot of restrictions for violent video games in Germany. Most games are heavily edited for the German market. At work, we have a checklist of things to be flagged for the German version.
It is very likely that RE5 is not "exactly" the same game reviewed by Germans that whet it will be for the ROW.
I could be wrong of course, but keep in mind that a German review is often not made while watching the whole picture.

RE5 and COD4 are sequels for "game of the year" games. The RE franchise in a legend, it helped sell the PS1 like hot cakes.
KZ1 on the other hand was a merely okay shooter, most will learn it ever existed when they notice a KZ2 on the 4th shelf, below EA, Activision, Eidos and Ubisoft games. Oh....
There is always a slow down in high end PCs when the gap between PC power and console power becomes too wide.
Today a 500$ PC can, just like consoles, play all modern games at 720p. a 1000$ PC will play them at least at 1080p and beyond.
So, shovelling 6000$ on a monster machine when the games are actually developed for 4-5 year old hardware consoles does not make sense to most.
Gaming experience will be just as good and for 6000$ one can afford a very nice g...
In photoshop you need ram to load an image. now say you want to open a 4Gb Tiff image and apply numerous layers on it. a lot of ram would be need for it to be put into.... ram. cpu power is called upon when processing.
you put 3 of them in triple channel... 96gb of ram.
That is a lot.... load 3 blu ray movies in ram alone... :~

960 by 1080 is half the pixels of HD 1920 x 1080.
On the other hand, it would've been unbelievable that someone managed to render this level of graphic quality at HD res on a glorified GeForce 7600GT (the RSX GPU inside the PS3).
What will make me buy a PS3 is the day it hits the 199-229$ price point. Probably by june 2010 I guess. Until then I am fine.
I don't really give a **** about exclusives. Especially when they are shooters or JRPG.
I don't own a PS3 yet and all the MGS and KZ in the world won't make me move. LBP might, but then again, I don't have a hefty appetite for platformers.

If they port GTA IV to Wii, I will not give a Rat's arse. However, a new title could prove fun, as long as it does not require to wave your arm like a idiot ... or better, comes bundled with a Wii classic controller and paired with San Andreas or something.
