Actually, the 256 allotted to the GPU can be used for CPU purposed, and vice-versa. Not to mention that each core of the Cell has it's own memory store + its cache. It takes clever programming, but if you have a good programmer is pretty simple to pull off.
Have you even looked at the ratings it's getting? And that's WITHOUT expensive "care packages" sent to sway ratings.

Not too worried about 5 hours, I spent over 20 my first time through MGS2, but now I can breeze through it in about 4. I'm assuming that this will be pretty much the same case, and will be something the average person is completely incapable of doing.
