Look at it this way, if Sony only concentrated on their TOP selling IP's, they would have more resources to put towards marketing and other gaming related products/features and not lose money on IP's that don't sell.

I agree that Uncharted 2 is a great game and one of the best this gen...but no way could I have put it at number 1. The multiplayer aspect was nowhere near "good". Uncharted 2 was an amazing single player experience. I only played it once and only needed too. There was little replayability with it and the multiplayer lacked substance. Had Uncharted dropped the Multiplayer part, I would agree, but because it does have a multiplayer component, it then has to be compared to other ...
If we are strictly talking about graphics, then I believe Bungie's Halo looked great...not brilliant but great. Reach is the best looking Halo thus far and it looks great. You have to remember we are not talking about art style here which is where a lot of people get "graphics" and "art style" mixed up.
Killzone 2 and 3 looked brilliant. Plain and simple. The colour pallet was that of a war torn world constructed of metal and rust. Simple as that....

Halo can only be named as the best selling "exclusive" this gen. Other than that, it is no longer the king of sales....which if you think about it, never was. Last gen GT games outsold Halo. This gen CoD games outsell Halo. It's never been the "king" of sales, just the highest selling "exclusive" this gen.

If the PS3 has 760 and the 360 has 929, a difference of 169...how is it that there are only 127 exclusives on the 360? If there is a difference of 169 titles, wouldn't that mean that those are exclusive to the 360 since they are not on the PS3?
Unless they have already subtracted PC/360 games from that 169 difference...but then that would be a difference of 42 titles....and I am pretty sure there are not 42 games out there that are PC/3...

Not as much as I thought I would but I do use it for games like madden and Mass Effect. Finished Steel Battalion and came away with mixed feelings. I use it to navigate Netflix but that's about it.
If I had children I am sure they would get much more out of it then myself.
The biggest issue of Resistence is that they killed off the main character just in the second game. Why in gods name would you kill off the main character right when he was becoming exciting? People were beginning to relate to him.

Actually, Nathans backstory was covered in Uncharted 3. So really, Uncharted can only move forward. Uncharted is like a series or episodes. It can literally go on forever so long as there is new mysterious treasures hidden around the world exist.
Just like the Indiana Jones movies and all the Tomb Raider games....a new interesting story can be made every time.

Your argument implies that the hardware in the PS3 are identical in specs. They are not.
Large environment games like red dead redemption, GTA 4, operation flashpoint: dragon raising aside from bethedsda's Skyrim and fallout titles the PS3 has always had a much more difficult time performance, textures and resolution.
The PS3 excels in linear games. It just doesn't have the RAM and GPU for large scope ...

Halo was left on consoles so that MS could push more consoles out on the market. It makes perfect sense to try and help promote their system. Don't forget halo came out on the consol first before it went to pc. Gears is an epic ip so it was them who decided to not bring gears 2 or 3 to pc, and with all the pirating and gears 1 selling only about a million copies....it made sense that there just wasn't a market for their game on pc.

1) Wii AND PS3 released at the same time and yet out of the 2, the Wii was the only one that managed to surpass the 360 in WW sales.
2) America IS the LARGEST gaming demographic in the WORLD thus plays heavier on sales then ANYWHERE else in the world. Developers know this, console makers know this....I don't understand why the 2 of you don't.
