Wouldn't I have to spend "MORE" money on building a PC to play the games that they were ment to be played and "live the dream" then it would to purchase a $250 console?
How would I be saving money exactly if I am building a PC vs. the cost of a console?
I don't understand why you have so many disagrees. You are absolutely right. How can you be "more" immersed in a game sitting on a couch pressing buttons then actually up off the couch physically jumping, ducking and running.
Steal Battalion: Heavy Armor had me moving my arms around inside a tank to pull down the scope, change ammo type, change gears and interact with my team mates by shaking their hands and catching apples.

I think Sony is just preparing a different bundle for North America.
They know where the largest market is. They are a multi billion dollar corporation. They are just going through marketing to determine the best value at the best price right now for North America that is beneficial to their overall goal of making a profit.

The same graphical engine and physics system only tailors to the overall feel. You will not see full internal or external damage. No wear and tear on the tires etc.
It's designed to be an arcade racer using proper physics. Just because a game uses physics doesn't mean it's suddenly a sim. There are many other elements within the game that have to be considered.

My launch Phat has had no issues and it fits perfectly in my set up. I see no reason to "downgrade" to this model even though I do like the ultra slim appeal.
I would have thought this would have been cheaper then the slim....not too often a company releases a downgraded system with removed features and still charges the same price as their current model...

That number came from a survey from a particular gaming site (which I won't name) open to ANYONE where a small market sample voted. ANYONE could have voted. There was ZERO way to actually confirm if those who voted even owned a 360 and weren't just fanboys who support the competition voting.

The same people that gave Uncharted 2 GOTY ALSO gave Skyrim GOTY. So I am sure if they can see that Uncharted 2 is worth it then their standards must be pretty high. I hope you are not saying that they are idiots and give GOTY to bad games....that would imply that Uncharted 2 was a bad game.
The Fallout games have also been a HUGE blast to play.

Not really. I agree with Brosy. Developing for a "fixed" system is much easier than developing for a system that could have 20 different variants like drivers, updates and if your PC can even handle the game.
That in turn = "less" issues at launch.
In the end and the overall experience would be better on the PC since like you said, the community can do so much with the game via MODS but this topic is regarding issues at launch...not mont...

If I wanted to sell a product to make as much money as a business, why should I have to care about my competitors? I am out for business for myself, not be "fair" so that my product has to suffer or my customers have to suffer because I have to help my competition make money.
