Because EA use to make the best MLB game back in the day until 2K snatched up the license.
Also, since there is a market on the 360 for a baseball game, it would only make sense that EA make an MLB title knowing that not only would it sell on the 360 due to zero competition, but also may get some sales on the PS3 for those who may not like The Show or who are EA supporters.
That would be the point.
Maybe now EA can focus on a new MLB title since 2K is not longer doing it.
I think Halo has established itself to always be a good game. There is a formula in place and so long as 343i doesn't stray too far from it, you should have nothing to worry about.
This game is looking absolutely amazing and 343i have more then outdone themselves.
I can't wait for this to launch.

Well it was bound to happen. MS wasn't making any money off of the first IP anymore. It's a 6 year old game. No sense holding onto it since every other ME game would be multi and going into next gen nobody is going to care about the first installment from a last gen console. MS made every penny they could off this title.

Kinect is awesome in Madden, Skyrim, Mass Effect, Ghost recon and Forza.
Those are core games that use Kinect and it works great being applied to them.

I am a fan of the Flood and their prescience in Halo 1 - 3 made sense since the whole Halo story line premise revolved around them.
As for this new Trilogy, we are introduced to the Prometheans who were the highest and most respected group of Warrior-Servants in the Forerunner ecumenism. They played a big part in the Forerunner-Flood wars. Story wise, it could be plausible to have the flood in the campaign either in the background in cages or fluid filled pods.
