I agree with you that there is such a thing as "acceptable failure rate" with electronics, but you are out of your mind if you think the PS1 and PS2 had "acceptable" failure rates.
PS1 was well known for heat issues. You had to turn the PS1 up side down to read the disc and that was only the beginning issues leading up to the inevitable system breakdown. I went through 3 PS1's and each only had a 3 month warranty.

You are right, OtherZinc is incorrect. GT5 doesn't have half premium cars....GT5 has 20% of premium cars.
GT5 IS half assed in the sense that you are getting a very limited amount of car manufactures for a list that consists of just over 1000 cars. 80% of those cars are ports either from PSP or PS2. Just look at these car models.
I will never give up XBL until the competitors can offer me the exact same service or better for online gaming and community integration.
I hate paying for XBL but I would hate more not to be able to party chat or group chat. Also with XBL, you keep the games, demo's and content even if you stop paying for XBL.

nukeitall is right. Why would Sony sell the PS3 at a low cost to Retailers where Retailers would then just sell it at a much higher cost to make a greater profit when it would be in Sony's best interest financially to sell the PS3 to retailers and keep the extra profit to themselves?

The 360 has a parental control feature which can be used to block out content from the 360. The parental control has a password feature. So the parent would have to input the password, see that there is a new update and when the 360 launches, I am sure they will see an EI app or be notified of the new content.

True, but you get more for the initial cost with XBL then you do PS+.
In order to capitalize on the cost of PS+ you have to spend MORE money after the initial cost.
With XBL, it's a one time payment and you have complete access to everything. You don't need to have to keep spending money on DLC or full games to reap it's benefits. As a "bonus", XBL also offers savings for DLC and full games outside of it&#...

In order to get those "1000s of dollars" of savings, you have to SPEND "1000s of dollars" to get those savings.
You don't save ANYTHING unless you SPEND on something.

That's true. I am not considering the standard of living factor. I am simplifying a simple comparision basing this directly off of someone who would be converting USD into Eruo and vise versa.
Electronics may cost more in EU then in US but due to the standard of living in the EU, you would also be making more on average then what people make in the US.

Absolutely LOVED Dante's Inferno. I was beginning to think I was the only one since you don't see many comments on that game on here.
