The problem with cloud gaming is the bandwidth our internet providers cap us at.
Cloud gaming would advance much faster if we either didn't have low caps or caps at all.
Problem is, sure as time goes by, internet providers increase the bandwidth however games also increase in size as well. Games get bigger but internet providers only add a 30 gigs to your existing cap every 3-5 years or so.

I may or may not buy the DLC...it's optional. It won't make or break my experience not having it playing the single player campaign.

Kaz has already said that they will let MS release first. Makes sense because Sony is set on their own business plan and the release of the 720 won't change anything Sony has already decided in the PS4 hardware wise.

I am passing on the PS4. Just not enough great games that I like and since the 720 is going to release with a blu-ray player, I will no longer need my PS3 as my blu-ray player or a PS4 as a blu-ray player either.

I am torn between Halo 4 and BF3.

Gears 3 is an amazing game but it's more intended for guys. Girls seem to think it wasn't good but they don't play it.

I will be playing on the 360 and I own Kinect so the "option" to have the best Dead Space 3 gaming experience for me will always be available.
Options are good. The ability to decide how I will play a game is even better.

MS doesn't need to buy the developers. It's cheaper just to have DLC. It seems to be working for MS. They are still 2nd behind the Wii in World Wide Market Share sales AND MS doesn't have to sell buildings to help pay off debts.

yup. I was disconnected and then 5 minutes later was back on.
However it was a bit of an annoyance. I was down 4-0 in MLB 2K12 and came back to 4-6, no outs, man on 3rd and in the bottom of the 7th inning....then BAM. Disconnected from XBL. NOOOO!!!! I was pissed. So I put NBA 2K13 in and 5 min later XBL was back up.
Oh well.

All those titles are on a 70+ million console install base.

Why should XBL be free? All you are saying is the multiplayer should be free, but ignore all the features that XBL provide you in order to have the best online gaming experience.
I think anyone who pays money so they can pay for more are idiots. PS+ is basically a coupon book that you have to pay for just so you can get discounts on other content, content that you may not even want. Therefore you have payed for coupons for items that you will never want or need.
