IF anyone is in a position to buy IP's it's Activision, Valve, EA, R*, NIntendo and MS.

I agree. If the rumors are right that MS will release a blu-ray player in the 720, then I am just going to skip the PS4. I mainly use my PS3 for Blu-ray movie playbacks. If the 720 has a Blu-ray player, then there is no need for a PS4 for me.
Not a single game on the PS3 this gen to me was worth me buying the PHAT unit at launch.
Some games like Uncharted 2 and LAIR were great but I would have rather rented those then to actually own them.
