The most laughable point is the clearly biased non-exclusivity repainted exclusive by making up a rule that a game thats on more than ONE platform is somehow an exclusive..
There is no such thing as "console exclusivity"
Either a game is exclusive, then its EITHER only on PC, OR only on xbox360 OR only on PS3 or only on Wii. The very moment its on more than ONE platform its not exclusive anymore.
But its absolutely clear why the page chose to i...
Ylod -> YELLOW
blinking red light != yellow ..
seems you are either confused ... or else ..
party chat is WAY more than that.
Its a quite nifty feature that allows you and a bunch of people to STAY in a voicechat session regardless of the game you play. Sadly it was instantly abused for competitive game cheating as the dead can keep telling their mates where the last opponent is, and can join different teams and effectively unfairly spy that way. MS should change it to honor the competitive restrictions ingame.
Considering that "a few spreadsheets" may very well contain the company's future in patents and business ideas that i certainly DO NOT WANT Google inc to see, read and analyze.
You don't stick your internal data and knowledge on a blackboard at Wallmart, neither should you upload it to some internet company that has a history of collecting private data for their own gains.
The moment you give such stuff out of your trusted sphere you loose all control over...
That "scan" looks totally photoshopped
I mean, totally totally, just look at the right side where the infotext seems to be, the text seems to be on a page that suddenly has a different angle than the rest of the page, not a very good photoshop job imho.
The difference here is that when your own computer is not safe (and its actually not hard to reach a decent level of security for a home system) only YOUR OWN data may be spied on. But when anything happens with such huge overblown dataheaps the spies can access thousands of victims in one place. Completely ignoring the fact that google themself WILL spy on anything thats in your data for sure.
Google's mantra may have been "don't be evil" once, but today the only thin...
Will be interesting to see how they fare on the consoles. Simbin made great racing simulators so far.
Sure there are physical dumps of PS3 games on the net, but to be considered as piracy there would first need to be a way to PLAY these binary rips. There is none so far. Every "isoloader" announced has been fake.
Hmm, so far there is not a single pirated copy on the PS3 scene, STILL PS3 games are the most expensive ones on store shelves wherever i look ...
Seems the piracy is at fault for expensive games 'argument' has a huge freaking hole in the middle of it.
Point is, games are expensive cause distributors are greedy and people PAY the price. Piracy has nothing to do with the prices, it is just a cheap excuse by the developers and distributors as of WHY they overcharge so m...
It is supposed to be a pun on "cheap" as in 'without quality' ...
DivX3.x is an illegal codec because it contains stolen patented code from MS. Hence official DivX3.x support is somewhat shady at best. Certainly Sony won't add support for a rogue codec that could result in a C&D from MS.
Sorry to burst your dreambubble, but only DivX Plus™ HD certified devices need to support h.264 encoded files coming in an mkv container at all. And on top the certification does NOT require your player to support DivX 4.x, 5.x, 6.x , xvid or whatever other widely spread codec encoded files coming in an mkv container. These codecs only have to be suported in .divx(.avi) containers. It will be pure chance to get any of the mkv files to work unless they are rebuild in DivX HD 7.x.
the container has nothing to do with the codec .. *rolleyes* i could pack an WMV VC1 videostream into an .mkv container as easily as an DivX4.x, 5.x, 7.x whatever codec.
Container != codec
avi = container
mkv = container
Xbox and PS3 play AVI containers with DivX encoded videos, neither has native support for MKV containers.
The last codec that was based on the old MS WMV codec was DivX3.x
Hence that codec is no longer supported, and actually was made by a different dev team.
The team that makes Divx (4.x +) made V4 as a mpg4 compatible codec and build it new from ground up. No MS patented parts are in DivX4.x and higher. In essence DivX4.x and up has nothing to do codewise with DivX3.x.
only one
Both MS, Nintendo AND Sony only report "Sales to retail" as this is the only precise number they have. "sales to customers" is always 'guestimates' as there is no registration of every sold unit in every shop ...
Sorry to burst your fanboy bubble, but the PS3 version WILL release at least half a year in advance in Japan ... *rolleyes*
FatPrincess \o/ hooray
all Burnout Paradise expansions so far have been free ....
Remember who? *confused look*
Oh my, a tower defense clone, how very original ....
