Sure, lets choose Chrome and not have all the adons that i love to use in Firefox, and at the same time have it report every move i make in the web back to Google HQ, heck it even reports every single keystroke i make in the adress bar back to Google HQ. Chrome may very well the most snoopy browser ever.

Thats not what i want in a browser.

Its a good game actually :D I was pleasantly surprised

Yes, and the tooth fairy realy trades in your old teeth for cash *rolleyes*

Take a moment and THINK about the implications.

Lets say this system actually can beat the law of physics and send data faster than the physical network can (remember, even sd streams need a BUFFER to run smooth, and a buffer is a no go for real time stuff)

So in 2010 we would have onlive (gonna get a lawsuit from Microsoft regarding "live" soon ..) serving 1 million am...

Hmm, lets think technical for a second.

The concept is the same as "StreamMyGame", and from my personal experience with that system, even via a 100mbit wired network, its a laagfest.

The problem starts with the game running on the remote system.

onlinve server sends image ->>>> internet + 50 ms lag >>>> You see and react, press buttonx ->>> internet(+50ms lag)>> onlive server ->>>>> (+50 ms ...

There is one basic rule: good games sell, bad games don't

The amount of piracy is generally overblown by quite a margin. The DS is at least as plagued by piracy as the PSP, and you hardly see anyone complain, except Nintendo.

Regarding piracy and game prices:
Is't it suspicious that even though distributors keep telling us that games are expensive because of the added cost of piracy. But a look at the current game prices reveal that the systems with the MOST ...

Why didn't you just posted the mini-info here ? So pointless to click through for such a minimal information

I tend to differ between the rip-off kind of dlc, and the 'air-value' kind

Its actually quite easy to spot what kind of DLC you get.

The fair-value DLC is produced AFTER the game has released and adds valuable content to the original game. Some companies like Epic Games and Criterion even release free high value dlc for their products, its called support of customers. Examples of 'fair value' dlc: Warhawk add on packs, the upcomming extra isle for burnout paradise an...

As usual Gamepolitics completely miss the point, and therefor rant for no reason and no gain.

as Jaffe rightly stated the consumer is not a party of the used game issue. If you look at the issue he posted on.

Industry has no issue with consumers selling their used games on ebay to other consumers. Same with garage sales and any other consumer to consumer sale.

What pisses of the industry is gamestops policy of PROMOTING "preowned" games to buye...

Fits the two dead on descriptions of a patent troll case:

1) the "patent" is only a description of an overly broad and generic idea that can be applied to anything without ever going into details. The "patent" in this case also covers any kind of mobile phone, mobile radio receivers everything thats "handheld" and in any way wirelessly comunicates.

2) the company is based in Texas. As only Texan courts are well known for supporting such...

E3 ceased to be anything "premiere" years ago when they downsized it and kicked out the general public.

The only two events left that would qualify for "premiere" are the GC and the TGS, both megaevents where normal gamers can visit and check out the newest stuff, E3 is a dead elitist press conference, nothing more.

Actually, where does the "news" come from? I can't find anything even related to the "summary" on either source. ...

Are you kidding me? Why should i care if Billy Gates PR Manager organizes "charity" stunts to polish the image? No amount of money from his shady monopolistic business could make a saint out of a crook, and a crook he is. I thought the time of selling of indulgences was over, apparently not as some people still fall for it. I bet Al Capone also spent millions on charity, lets promote him to sainthood.

Funny how one of the more important parts of the information comes in the lower part: "Commercially manufacturing this kind of nano-hardware data storage still remains years, if not decades, away"

Thats the crux with fundamental research, it presents a theoretic solution but leaves the problems of actually building something useful with it to others :D and like the "tesa-rom" thats in development for more than a decade now, and still has not produced anything ...

There is no such patent, gta2800, stop reposting that long time fake nonsense again. The PS3 custom soundtrack feature works EXACTLY as the xbox360 feature right now. Like when the Xbox started with the feature games need to USE the provided api to allow it. The only difference is that Microsoft made it a required feature to get a license for the xbox360. The xbox1 had numerous games that did NOT support custom soundtracks even after the feature was included in the firmware. And several games...

Oh, Smarthouse, the only Australian "news" page that want Australia to be a state of the USA. Otherwise i would find it hard to understand why they want to have American prices on all Australian products. Last i looked Sony was a Japanese company, reporting in Yen, not USD, so the USD to AUD conversion rate has close to zero relevance for Sony. The YEN to AUD conversion rate has though, and as someone already stated the PS3 YEN -> AUD comparison shows a nearly equal price.
