The SCEE PSN Manager already stated that they ban the PS3 from PSN, not a random PSN profile. Therefor your 1348348 PSN accounts are worth nothing as you need a new PS3 every time you get banned. Instantly transforming the "no paid account" into a "$400 account per try" thing.
Sorry, but you are chasing shadows there. The PS2 SingStar is NOT run on the PS3 with this patch, only the PS2 specific filesystem is read for the PS3 SingStar to DISPLAY the songs. It has been stated already by SCEE that the patch does not rely on any PS2 code but includes reading compatibility for the PS2 SingStar song/video content only.
no, this only means that the Singstar PS3 soft got the needed routines to read the songs from the PS2 disks and display them in PS3 Singstar style. This is certainly NOT PS2 emulator related at all.

Is that supposed to be a bad joke? The 'older' fans where left behind after NFS:HP2. Each version after that was worse than the one before. NFS went downhill fast, and ugly. The latest version is horrid, and the one before is not much better. Lets bury the series for good, it ceased to be fun years ago.
The last one i liked was Hot Pursuit 2, after that they went the boring ghetto night/day pimp_my_ride way and dropped the most important parts, like the police chases with PLAYERS as cops, the fun with roadblocks and the lush races over winding landscape tracks in cool cars.

Actually that is not right, darth. "old" movies are mostly shot in 35mm FILM, not videotapes. I would agree that its pointless to convert video tapes, as they lack the needed resolution. But 35mm film is perfectly reasonable to be scanned at full hd. The only problem could stem from scratches and damaged parts when there are no perfect original copies left.
