Anything is click bait if it uses vague or leading wording to grab clicks. That can be as little as listing a great sale and forgetting that it only applies to x people, or as bad as Buzzfeed's general article heading creation. Just because there is worse click bait doesn't mean lesser click bait is somehow justifiable. I do apologize if I came off as abrasive. This is just the fifth or sixth article I saw since I woke up 16 hours ago that talked about a release or sale that forgot re...
I don't own an Xbox One or a Wii U, nor do I play pretty much any sports titles. Destiny doesn't really interest me because I'm not a multiplayer focused gamer, and I got my fill of LEGO games long, long ago. Thanks anyways, list. At the least, even if I may never play them, I know people should get Sunset Overdrive and Bayonetta 2 if they own the right systems. I hear Destiny is stellar since the new expansion too, so multiplayer shooting loving gamers, rejoice.
Seriously, people need to start including region when it comes to sales. This heads up is only good for Europe, but you don't know that for certain unless you click the article since neither the title nor the description say as much. It's basically click bait.
The hoodie on the Bethesda store is $60. It is the same hoodie.
I had quit Lootcrate, but I may go one more month if I can get my hands on one of these. I mostly just want the hoodie, to be honest.
Edit: At least, I thought I wanted it. At $100 though, I'm not a big enough Fallout fan to splurge on it. If it was standard Lootcrate pricing, I'd be all for it. $15 more? Okay. But $100 is just too out there for me.
How did you give this an 8/10? You spend half the review explaining the game mechanics, which basically boils down to "they are simple and work as intended", mention that there is no real feedback or reward, that amiibo card functionality is lazily implemented/distributed and fairly worthless, and then you spend your conclusion citing the various ways the game falls short as a retail release.
Your review sounds a whole lot more like a 6.8/10 to me. A number that sig...
Just downloaded. Can confirm that it's awesome.
If you all want to see an even crazier unfair tough level, here you go. It's a facebook video, so don't mind the long link. It legitimately takes basically the entire clock time to finish:

I want them focused on Fallout 4 primarily for the next six months at least to cover launch and post-launch fixes effectively. Anything else Fallout related from older games can wait until Bethesda is experiencing a slight lull in content due to new things just being a bit too far away. I don't want them focused on porting and optimizing old PC games for modern home console hardware if resources are better spent elsewhere.
That said, if you haven't played Fallout 2, g...
I'm sure the sale is the standard one week affair. Though, with Europe's PSN, I notice they tend to super explicitly state the exact end date of sales, and that sales don't always go for only one week like they tend to on US PSN. Either way, if it's a sale, and the prices are listed as sale prices, then it's temporary.
There is actually a fairly simple fix to keep the game from frequently crashing, since Fallout 3 is pretty disagreeable with most modern hardware unless you make an ini file tweak. I went from crashes every time I moved left just a little too quickly to only crashing from a genuine bug and not just the game being a hulking pile of manure. A quick Google should find the fix.
So basically, the PS4 version begins during nighttime, thus, everything is appropriately darker. Otherwise, everything clearly looks better on the PS4 game. Is that....is that all they wanted to show us? What a worthless video.
Joke's on you, Buzzfeed. I don't have a heart!
What I want to see is a heated localization announcement.
Nobody is saying the Wii U gamepad is necessarily a bad controller. The person you responded to most definitely did not say that. It does some neat things, and is an interesting idea. The problem is that it cost too damn much and made the price of the Wii U shoot up, staying too high for too long.
I do disagree with it being the downfall of the Wii U. There are a lot of things that went wrong that ultimately led to the Wii U being a commercial failure. It certainly doesn'...
Everyone, the cake exceeded expectations. The cake. Not the game. The sexy cake. There is no way game sales met their expectations considering the incredibly lukewarm launch and cold sales after. It isn't as if the game didn't deserve great sales. It's a well done experience. That doesn't change that it sold, not necessarily poorly, but I can guarantee sales are far below expectations, which is probably why nobody is exactly eager to reveal the official numbers in even a vague...
Your agreements and disagreements are in perfect harmony right now, and despite me agreeing with you, I refuse to upset the balance.
I look forward to the day where we stop looking at Amazon assumptions as news. All they did was toss up a listing as fast as they could with a placeholder price. Wait until SE actually says something since, more often than not, Amazon isn't all that correct in any region when they start posting things that haven't been officially announced.
I think they're scared about pulling attention away from the PS4 by shining the light back on the last generation machine, especially in Japan where the PS4 is just finally starting to look like a better choice. Giving a price cut on the PS3 is going to be a very strategic decision. I'm sure it's coming, but I don't know if it will be before or after the holiday season.
On a related note, they should really just price cut the Vita already. If so few units are ...
It was posted. At least for NA. I wasn't aware the game was confirmed for anything but NA, but if it was, I likely missed it because it simply isn't relevant for me.
