Dream Drop Distance is the Mark of Mastery exam after Kingdom Hearts 2 but before Kingdom Hearts 3. It's the test where Sora and Riku attempt to become Keyblade Masters. It's one of few side games that actually introduces a fair bit of new content rather than just rehashing basically entirely old locales.
If you mean the interaction with your Dream Eater pets or whatever, I hope they choose to axe it. Realistically though, they can just do most touch related stuff using the touchpad. It's surprisingly responsive and useful.

Slight nitpick, but what people are sick of are remasters, especially those from last generation for games that weren't even all that popular to begin with (Prototype, Deadpool, etc.). Actual remakes are so rare though, we accept those with open arms. Unless it's FFVII. Only thirty? I took over a month off from Dark Souls after getting somewhere over forty deaths in about the same amount of time. To give Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 proper credit, they are the only games I have pushed myself so far beyond my acceptable limit of frustration for.
And the game is only $40 US. This pre-order price has been known since pre-E3. I mean, this is good news for the UK, but at the same time, I think it's somewhat interesting that we're celebrating the UK getting the same price as the US.

Nostalgia is so strong surrounding this title, it is honestly absurd. Is FFVII THAT good? Hell no. It shares the same flaws as a lot of RPGs.
