I'd love a KOTOR 3 or even a Jade Empire 2.

Probably not. I mean, yeah, it will shift some systems, but it won't make a big impact in Wii U sales or something. Really, only Nintendo first party games with recognizable characters (Mario, Link, etc.) have the power to move systems in a big way, at least in the west. It's not even a dig at XCX. I'm sure it will be a great JRPG. JRPG's already have a hard time having western selling power though, and the particular nature of the Nintendo audience doesn't seem likely to ...

Is $4 really all that noteworthy of a discount? I mean, if that is the make it or break it deal for anyone, I would be astounded

I personally missed out on Zero and the for hire Vault Hunters. I managed to get everybody else on my side though. Had I known the importance of money, I may not have sprung for a nice mask and that sweet paint job, or have given that dying bastard his $100 back in episode one.

Microsoft is listening and learning. For their Xbox Two, they'll do a total 360 over their current design.

This is pretty non-news. It's literally just Nintendo talking at this point trying their best to not actually say anything.

We can all feel at least a little bit better seeing that the controller is absurdly hideous.

"Nothing is impossible"? Clearly the author has not tried to make the Xbox into a Japanese success.

I'm sure then ten people this affects will be deeply appreciative.

As a 2DS owner, I can safely say I am more than satisfied. The N3DS has really failed to justify a purchase unless you just have to have one of I think it is two games that won't run on the regular 3DS hardware (but are by no means exclusive to the platform). The lack of CPP use has never bothered me since only one game really seems to absolutely need it, and the lower pricepoint was really hard to beat. I ultimately paid peanuts for an MK7 2DS bundle, brand new from Best Buy last year du...

Old games weren't just designed with more arcade-like mechanics because that was the only reference point. It was also the only way to expand the experience. There is a lot on TV Tropes about Nintendo Hard and Artificial Difficulty if you're looking for a nice read for the next four weeks as you get sucked into TV Tropes and lose sight of the path out. It wasn't that they couldn't make the games easier. Hell, I'm sure the suggestion got kicked around from time to time. Unt...

The guy who runs the site has gotten busy with real life apparently. There are a lot of calls for updated charts, even if just once a month with the latest major information, but the main admin responsible for acquiring the data is super MIA. The situation on VGChartz is somewhat complicated right now, and I really don't see it lasting out the next year without major changes, getting regularly updated numbers again being a large part of those changes.

If you make claims, opinion or not, you support those claims. Don't try to bullshit your way out of it to justify a lazy piece.

This whole article is just...wut. If you are going to make ridiculously large claims like most of these, you need a hell of a lot more than a couple of paragraphs including your opinion and a couple of "facts" that conveniently have no source. This article is pretty much one big, lazy, nostalgia fueled assumption.

If someone wants to rewrite this article with the exact same reasons with an actual analysis that includes numbers, sources, and otherwise, have at it. Th...

Having actually watched Angry Joe's rant, and having read the article, uh, k? The only point really addressed in the Tweets is the assumption that content was cut to be sold at additional cost later, which is something we always fear, and often assume, even if it can't be proven. Yeah, it's somewhat tiring seeing it, but at the same time, there have been more than a few times where DLC was abused to make worries justified.

Otherwise? Angry Joe was spot on about th...

I was checking it out, and it looks like generally they release once every one or two months for any other series. Tales from the Borderlands is the odd man out with the weird, lengthy release schedule.

I really don't like the idea of using cloud computing. If it gets used for single player experiences, that means single player experiences that require an always online connection. If the company running the server farms ever goes under, games that use this system may be rendered half or entirely unplayable. When the servers inevitably go offline, games risk being completely gimped.

It's a bad system, and even if games can look and run better with it, I'd rather w...

There is basically zero reason to exceed 8GB of RAM unless you have a habit of seriously going all out in your simultaneous computer tasks. I mean things like playing a game, capturing the footage, and managing to somehow edit it all at the same time. Even then, I can't say with absolute certainty that you would exceed 8GB provided you had nothing else unnecessary open.

A recent test another site did actually found that even 4GB is workable with most games, even newer tit...

I'm picking this up exactly because it is Dragon Quest. I've become fairly disinterested in the overall musou game style over the years, getting my fill way back when on the PS2. This has characters I know from the many games I've played, and mixes in RPG elements to the musou play style. The major appeal factor for me is that it is Dragon Quest.

If that reason isn't good enough for you, well, I don't particularly care since I'm buying the game for me ...

I don't know what's more sad. The fact that you think all of those games will actually be localized, or the fact that you look at that first list and somehow don't see the 3DS in decline.
