With the light bar, any translucent casing will just be a glow stick. Not desirable.
Honestly, even with 5G, you might get high enough speeds to get decent streaming when close enough to a tower, but the big problem of speed consistency will never go away. Coverage nets for every major provider basically the world over has massive holes, and even when an area is actually covered, I'm sure everyone with a smartphone has experienced a time where within half a block they went from seemingly a full strength connection to speeds that make 3G seem fast. It's an inherent pro...
I hope you don't expect anything even remotely functional. Game streaming requires a stable, high speed connection. Variable 4G speeds will not be even remotely fast or stable enough for a passable experience.
The problem is that stuff like this only works well most of the time over a hardwired Ethernet connection. Wireless is super hit or miss every single time, but even hard wired is far from perfect. Just check out the Steam Link if you want an idea of how effective solutions like this actually are. As a hint, the Steam Link failed to really catch on for a reason, that reason being that with all caveats considered, it makes what is essentially streaming over your home network a vastly inferior c...
VR on the Switch will only be at most kind of gimmicky. Like phone VR, it may be interesting, but if will never compare to a dedicated VR unit like the PS VR or HTC Vive. Probably not something worth getting all that excited about on the spectrum of Switch stuff to look forward to.
Definitely. Physical copy retains value due to rarity, other people get to play the game, and no toes stepped on since this software is old as hell and never even made it to retail. It's nice to be able to preserve history like this.
Imagine reading the article or what's actually meant by JRPG. But your against the grain method of opinion making is surely popular, so keep at it.
Not at all. JRPG specifically refers to turn based RPGs that were popularized by Japanese game developers in the 80s and 90s. They are focused on fantasy almost always, have a defined level up progression system (in a levels are more important than outright skill kind of way), and they usually abide by similar story telling tropes such as the final boss threatening the end of the world and stuff like that.
Bloodborne and Nioh are both great games, but they're more actio...
Be more entitled? A physical release wasn't originally planned for this small game. Just because you backed the main game doesn't mean you suddenly deserve physical extras for any related projects.
Except this isn't judging. This is a PR move to make it look like Capcom is considering the Switch, and by being vague about what they mean by good sales for Dragon's Dogma, they can always say sales weren't good enough unless Dragon's Dogma knocks it out of the park. We all know it won't though since DD is an older game and won't sell numbers anywhere near a new release.
This is the same thing developers did with the Wii U, and it was always an excu...
A comprehensive article I read states there will be free DLC, with the goal for all paid DLC to be released in a single package that is currently under development. Critical mode is a planned free update while the paid in particular will address missing details from the story of KH3 and otherwise.
This is ultimately a Final Mix replacement with more planned to accommodate a current generation KH game.
Yeah, speed running in RE games is all about killing as little as possible since it’s fairly time consuming. Usually a bullet or two to enough to give the space needed to get through. The best time for REmake 1 is 1:19:40 for any percent of with 100% only adding about six minutes, which shows just how optimized the run can actually get beyond even your already good time.
Labo is brilliant. It’s clunky, cheap, and Nintendo sells you $5 worth of cardboard for $70 because they used a perforation making machine which clearly increases the value. Nintendo can spend essentially nothing on R&D and make oodles of profit from people too stupid to realize they’re spending more than they ever have on peripherals to not only get it in a cardboard format, but to then have to spend potentially hours making it yourself for some of the most limited novelty Nintendo has p...
If this is what you call a megaton, wow. An easy remake that shows no real ambition and is clearly a first party schedule filler. I’m sure it will be fun, but this is hardly a system seller waiting to happen.

When you see a bundle like that, ask yourself what the store is trying to sell. If a console is being bundled with a TV, it's either a promotional deal sponsored by one company or another (which is usually advertised as such) or odds are high they're just offloading an item selling poorly (like say a kind of bad model of TV). What better way to do that than saying you're tossing in something actually somewhat desirable worth a few hundred dollars? Draw ...
They haven’t even bothered to release the collections on the Xbox despite releasing KH3 on it. Dunno what it is, but SE seems to have an aversion to porting anything with the main numbered games to a non-PS system. They literally have a comprehensive collection that includes everything pre-KH3 on the PS4, and couldn’t be bothered to port it anywhere.
They may bring KH3 eventually, but I would fully expect the scenario that they would skip all the previous games for some asi...
*surprised Pikachu meme*
They probably put them on the front of the box due to many places storing games behind glass where you can’t see the back of the game case without asking an employee to open the glass case. That and putting it there plainly removes any liability towards Nintendo for failing to match modern necessity for higher capacity storage availability. No one can claim they failed to see the warning.
Still tacky as hell though and definitely ruins box art.
Price to performance is what got me. I’m still using a 1070 and I have yet to play a game where I had to drop below ultra for 1080p 60+ FPS @ 144hz gaming. What incentive do I have to buy a new card that costs more than my entire computer did a few years back?
AKA stuff that will get absolutely buried within days of release thanks to Nintendo's terrible eShop that is currently letting any trash that someone at least took the time to name onto the store in droves.
Maybe before showcasing Indies like they have a chance under all the shit, Nintendo should organize their store better so it naturally promotes new, noteworthy, Nintendo approved titles.
