What's this about common sense?

I can't believe that they still haven't fixed this. At least they're looking into it now though.
None of what they've shown gives off the vibe of the original trilogy to me, tbh. It looks more like a return to the Future series - a spiritual sequel to A Crack In Time with a focus on dimension shifting instead of time travel. The pirates from A Quest For Booty briefly appeared in a dimension jump as well.
R&C 2016's biggest problem was that it inherited so much cutscenes and writing from the movie, tbh. The Future games had solid storytelling and a decent se...
The free upgrade for Crash 4 on the PS5 still isn't working for loads of people in Europe. "Learn More" is still the only option followed by a Purchase Error:
"You already own the following products, which conflict with the product you're trying to buy:
Crash Bandicoot™ 4: It’s About Time - Tracker"

I'm surprised someone didn't try to flag this article, tbh, because of some throwaway reference to this information in another article.
Out of interest, can you provide a link to something that shows that this article is based on misinformation?
@PandyRoo
Exactly. It says:
"You already own the following products, which conflict with the product you're trying to buy:
Crash Bandicoot™ 4: It’s About Time - Tracker"
The fact that you're comparing video-game developers to "the homeless and extremely poor" and cavemen lighting a fire probably should have given you pause, man. haha.
X "got it worse" always applies to 99.99% of people. It's not a valid excuse for anything.
Expecting developers to operate as if it's business as usual when it's not business as usual and there are issues with food, water and heat that need to sorted out...
The free upgrade isn't available for myself and a lot of people unfortunately because of a Purchase Error on the PS Store. It seems to mostly be affecting EU and UK customers. Tried to find others with the same issue on the internet and found a Reddit thread. https://www.reddit.com/r/cr...
Can't see any acknowledgement of it ...
MS have already made their decision on that. I'm likely not buying these games either since the sequels won't release on PlayStation. Don't want to get invested in a series that I can't finish.
Probably not buying them either. None of the sequels will ever release on PlayStation, and I don't want to get invested in a series that I might not be able to finish
@I_am_Batman
Tbh, them acquiring BluePoint is something that they definitely should and likely will do, but it isn't something that I'd personally get that excited about because BP already make games exclusively for Sony anyway, and they don't make new IP.
From the perspective of a consumer, nothing would majorly change for me if they buy BluePoint.
If they buy or start forming a strong partnership with Remedy they would be ...
I hope they do react, tbh. Unlike MS, the money would likely be invested in a much smaller company that would truly benefit from the investment like Remedy
The 1997 Dualshock was a lot closer to perfection and even more innovative though
@HankHill
The person who has hurt feelings is the person who put in the time to spam these imaginary dislikes. I imagine that's a lot of work. haha
I just always make sure to point it out when it happens. People use the tactic of artificially flipping the ratios in comment sections on more serous topics as well. It's about changing public perception on a given topic. Here, thankfully, it's just about Nier so it doesn't really matter
@Lighter9
Because of your reply, I've noticed that in less an hour 15 dislikes were added to my comment (it was 8:3), and there wasn't a big increase in the degrees or the number of comments here.
Is N4G ever even going to try do something about the losers using spam bots/multiple accounts?
I finally tried this game last year and while I enjoyed the story, I was really disappointed in the combat and I don't understand how nobody ever talks about how basic it is.
It has less depth than Arkham-style combat systems which is pretty bad. There's no real combos to learn like other Platinum games (you can switch weapons between hits I suppose) and there's ultimately just not much depth at all besides well timed dodges.
@CyberSentinel
Your response has nothing to do with your original comment. C'mon, dude. We're just talking about aligned sales here, so why only use aligned sales from one region and pretend it's the whole story? Your argument with waverider was based on a lie. You're being a bit too much of a fanboy
A really misleading comment and some big spin. Those are just the Japanese figures.
The PS5 has the lead, not the Switch. These are the worldwide numbers:
"Looking at the marketshare through 15 weeks, the PlayStation 5 currently leads. The PS5 has a 42.7 percent marketshare, the Switch sits at 28.9 percent, and the Xbox Series X|S at 28.4 percent."
You're arguing with waverider about how different skus of the Switch are irrelevant t...
Not sure how I feel about this, tbh. The external network being compromised does complicate things a bit. Covid spreads very easily in an office setting though (all breathing in the same air in a confined space).
Some people here have a bad habit of defending poor behaviour by corporations - they should not be offended by the deserved criticism (Capcom were going against the guidelines set out by the Japanese government) but there is some nuance to the situation.
