So basically, I'm talking about relative to the peak numbers of the prior games.
I'm not saying that a game that released on GamePass cannot have high numbers on Steam. But the effect isn't 0%. And Early Access also affects the peak.
Sure, but those numbers are higher than previous Doom games' peak on Steam as well.

It seems like the peak would at least as high as Doom 2016.
Bit confused on one thing. That graph only starts from May 15. They don't seem to have been able to capture data for the early access players who started playing days before that.
Could be affected by:
- A percentage of people will play this on GamePass which the last 2 games did not launch on.
- A percentage of players bought the Deluxe Edition which included early access, reducing the peak as players will start playing it on different days.

They shut down Arkane Austin and got rid of Tango Gameworks after the amazing Hi-Fi Rush. ***Without these studios, Bethesda's output will be reduced significantly going forward.***

UE5 has clear issues but there is almost no nuance about it online. Games like Expedition 33, The Talos Principle 2, Robocop, Wukong, etc show how it does allow small or less experienced teams to punch way above their weight. I suspect it helped Blooper Team a lot with developing the Silent Hill 2 remake as well and upping their game as a studio.

I've bought all of their games as Burnout is one of my favourite franchises but I'm going to be honest, even the quality of Dangerous Driving was still very questionable. It still has glitches like cars clipping and getting stuck on the sides of tracks which were never fixed.
This needs to finally be a solid game. If it isn't, not buying this game and regrettably won't be supporting these guys any further. Hope they realise that they need to get this right o...
Don't think they'd set another GTA in Liberty City exclusively, tbh ... unless they expanded the map a lot around Liberty City with room to fly around.
GTA 4, 5 and 6 all exist in the same HD GTA world. So Liberty City would still pretty much be the same map as in GTA4.
GTA7 probably isn't coming out until 2036-2040 so I wouldn't worry about it anyway. haha. Maybe they'll link all the maps together or just create a new location.
This seems a bit drastic but it's your decision to make. Getting rid of games around retirement age with more spare time seems like cutting a lot of potential fun away though.
Letting go of Evolution Studios was so dumb. There was and is a big gap in the market for this kind of game.
I think people forget that Shuhei shut down a lot of studios and definitely made some mistakes.
I feel like this remaster could kind of backfire on Bethesda if they haven't listened to feedback on their last few games games going into Elder Scrolls 6 - people will remember how good Oblivion is and there will be a strong contrast.
I generally prefer playing on PS5 but gotta give credit to GamePass.
