The tax write-off might have been more beneficial, perhaps?
"Does that also mean less risks in the AAA space and going back to the same ip"

Really enjoyed Sprawl. Too many great games go largely unnoticed these days.
This is a smart decision if true. If the next Xbox plays Steam games, then they're effectively porting their games to Xbox.
"additional 5M+ units is just a magical number"
What? You're saying that Sony lied about sales data to shareholders?
Your comment is not accurate. Eurogamer gave this a 4/5 on Xbox a year ago. They didn't change their opinion because it went to PS5. They're just doubling down on the opinion that they already had.
And as you are aware, the game has received a lot of updates changing things. The issue was that users had issues with the game, including ***prominent Xbox YouTubers*** like MrMatty.
Would have liked if they also included Revengeance or Twin Snakes.
- Like a Dragon has always been the real, original name of the series in Japan.
- The turn-based games are good.
- They have not remade a remake.
The casting director should not have employed that guy. The rest of what you said is fluff but that is true.
"fucking delicious to watch" ... Alright, lad.
Just expect 1 or 2 good things from these out of Sony. Because of constant State Of Plays, the announcements are spread thin.
They announced Astro Bot, Intergalactic (Game Awards), Ghost Of Yotei, Saros, etc within months of each other. But never a lot all at once.
Maybe some Wolverine gameplay plus a release date, same as what they did for Spider-Man 2. Might even just be a Saros presentation as it's coming out soon.
They "have to" because it was disclosed in an earnings call.
You really think that the company's Chief Financial Officer shouldn't talk about the financials of the company in an earnings call?
You not bored of creating spam accounts?
He just deletes spam accounts.
Considering that the spammer complains constantly about Christopher in the exact same way and we know that he keeps accounts around just to upvote himself ... 👀.

Not like they published it or anything.
It makes more sense for them to remake earlier games like Code Veronica. RE5 is a good game though - it's not THAT different from RE4.
RE5 just doesn't really need to remade in general. The co-op element makes it tricky - you'd probably add more moments where Chris is by himself enhance the horror but some would want co-op to stay.
The actual problem is when AI-generated in-game content or art is put into the game. Disclosures should revolve around the problem.
A programmer or QA using a tool like Copilot as a code helper to e.g. analyse code to help find the source of a bug, or help with a function, or write a unit or cucumber test is not a problem.
I think it shows how shortsighted it was for Sony to let go of Evolution and not get them to make some sort of competitor (open world Driveclub?) 10 years ago.
Better to just buy and own them, tbh.
The writer of this article seemed to come up with the answer that would make him feel better - to play more single player games that aren't overly long.
But then he basically just says that it's not achievable because there is only a "small selection" of them which isn't true. He even mentioned Mass Effect Legendary Edition as if it isn't 3 separate games. In general, he seems to only care about the high budget games which is a mistake.
...
This better just be market research instead of some nonsense we permanently have to put up with.
