I suppose between inFamous: First Light to Ghost Of Tsushima was 6 years (2014-2020). Then the DLC in 2021.
Then Yotei would have 4 years or so being their sole focus.
A possible solution would be to allow developers to require an install (the full game would still be on the card) rather than running the game directly from the card.
That being said, not having to install physical games on Switch (other than updates) was nice. Meant you didn't have to worry as much about how much storage you have left.
"We haven't streamed directly off the physical media for almost 2 generations now."
This shift only happened for discs though. Switch games do actually run directly from cartridge and don't get installed to internal memory like PS4/PS5 discs do. Just any updates get installed.
So there could actually be an issue here. Nintendo would have to allow certain games to force an install, I suppose.
Shows what happens when you actually listen to consumers instead of forcing something that they dislike.
Viewfinder and Psychonauts 2 are excellent.
Seems like Sony is course-correcting. That being said, they should shift these teams to making single-player games rather than shutting the studios down.
Great studios have fell on their face and failed trying to make live service games.
What was wrong with Mass Effect Legendary Edition?
@repsahj
Sure. Could have written my comment better. What I was trying to say is that the 5.8m figure is shipped, not sold. The actual sales of those units is estimated to have taken around 7 weeks. Seems like Nintendo built up a huge supply of consoles for launch.
It's been out since June 5th, so it's getting close to 2 months. Strong sales though, yes.
Maybe I'm wrong but I think the price of the premium version is the same as before. At least here in Ireland: €100.
So, not sure if they've effectively increased the price of the season pass or they just haven't updated the price of the premium version yet. Or if I'm just wrong. lol
"Controls: 30/100"
Wtf?
Now we get The Crew games instead 🙄
Would love and much prefer a sequel to this.
Sony, what are you doing? They need to have a clear message on their approach going forward as they could easily hurt their brand more than this is worth if this isn't limited to second party games at a bare minimum.
Jesus. The amount of layoffs is terrible (stating the obvious, I suppose). People deserve some job security and much more competence from management. Sad day.
How many spam accounts are you going to make, dude?

If they don't, Pro Skater 1+2 is pretty cheap these days on PS5 and Series X if you have on of them. Switch version was only 30fps as well.
Pro Skater 3+4 will definitely be a huge upgrade from that on Switch 2.
Could maybe watch the cutscenes on YouTube and then play Death Stranding 2.
"Let´s see if the usual people will trash IGN reviews now."
Who is this comment even aimed at? If it's because the first game got a 6.8 and people didn't agree, well, IGN released a video discussing how there's a different reviewer this time. He shared perspective on Death Stranding 1.
You can disagree with an individual critic. It's not a crime, Obscure. lol
Good that this is finally fixed. I noticed this issue while playing TLOU2 Remastered if you allowed to framerate in the settings to go over 60fps. Would kick in after 20 min.
Suppose Ghost Of Yotei is about to come out. Reviews incoming in 2 hours.
Then next year we have release dates for Saros, Nioh 3, Wolverine. Waiting for a release date for Intergalactic.
