Lies? Kojima being "disappointed" about MGS4 is an article on this very site. Or do you just skip those to come on here and bash people?
When it's done, I want to one day own all four seasons of Battlestar Galactica on Blu-Ray. They got out S1 on HD, but now it's time to switch. Get with it, Universal!
Based on the company wanting to inflate their numbers. All companies do this, just some are better at hiding what those numbers are.
That's a pretty ignorant argument. First of all, there is no way Microsoft did not approve every single little part of what constitutes an Xbox 360. No smart business just hires other people do all of their work with no supervision. To do so is lunacy. And MS, while they may make some bad decisions, are not THAT stupid. Someone in Microsoft approved EVERYTHING that is in the Xbox 360. The biggest problem is that they made sure to make it as cheaply as possible... things like cheap solder join...
And it helps preserve the environment. Do you really want to go cut down a bunch of trees in an area where the mosquitoes will kill you?
I don't see it mentioned anywhere else, so I'll say it here. He also didn't let the dashboard have a chance to display the disc title. If it HAD been GTAIV, it'd been smart to not autostart, so we could have seen the title appear. That would have helped to authenticate it. As it is, it was probably a disc the 360 displayed as something else, so he didn't want us to see that.
Yeah, they're just trying to stir stuff up. Nothing new for this site.
Yay for FF! Now if GM would apply Mozilla's work, my truck would be more powerful AND use less gas.

It all depends on what you want personally. If you want to spend a good bit of money on an Apple, then you'll get a OSX that works well. But if you want to spend money on a good PC, then you'll get Vista which works well. There are complaints and annoyances on both sides, but it's all personal preference, price points, etc.
I personally prefer Windows.. not because of the software, but because of the hardware. I can put some serious hardware into a machine and have the same OS as...
It's really not a huge resource hog like some other games. *cough* Crysis *cough*
I have one 8800 GT, and it runs it fine.
And this guy is missing more than a Wii and original Gameboy, BTW. The whole "almost every system ever" is completely wrong. I mean, come on, Magnavox Odyssey, Coleco Telstar, Nintendo TV Game 6, to name a few.
How has he not been able to get a Wii? I know there hard to run across randomly, but with a little effort they aren't super-hard to find. I've bought and sold three already for game money.
I haven't had too many problems with Vista, either. I did, however, build a pretty beefy computer. But I do have to say that it does suck up some resources compared to other OS's, but as far as functionality and whatnot, the base stuff isn't really far removed from XP. While Vista does have a few issues, all of the "trash Vista, give us our dream OS" chants are a bit stupid.
As for UAC, though.. I had to disable that crap. I'm capable enough to build a computer, so I do...
The majority of the third-party games on the Wii suck, though. The best Wii games are first- or second-party, neither of which would see the light of day on a PS3 or 360.
Granted, you can play a lot games on the Wii that you can on other systems, but most of the time the controls are better with traditional setups, so what would be the point?
This whole thing looks to me like MS raising their hands and screaming "Me too, me too!" While a new controller might work alright in some instances, I can't see anyone playing Call of Duty with it. What we would likely get with it would be a few game developed specifically for it, most of which would probably be "gimmicky" like a lot of the Wii's offerings, and a few good games with a control scheme tacked on.
Thanks, but no thanks.
I don't particularly care what system I play it on as I have both, but I disagree just because you wanted it!
By suing the coin maker because the coins clinked together, causing a passerby to enviously want your nickels and steal them from you.
Therefore you blame not the person's whose fault it actually is, but the guy with more money so you can get back 15 cents plus more for your "mental suffering".
I wouldn't say it's terrible, but I don't like it as much as the 360 controller. The DS controllers have always been a little small for my hands (which are somewhat large). I guess they're designed for little tiny Japanese people lol.
Not necessarily. The update is compatible, just with the new version of drivers. I mean, if you were designing a game, would you make it so that it runs best with software that came out two years ago, or the ones that are out right now?
hard to say for sure... it depends on what all changes they make. With a CPU and GPU shrink, smaller PSU, etc., I'd take a guess of about 30-40 watts if they do good. Newer PS3's are running at about 135W right now, down from the original's 200W. That came from the jump from 90nm to 65nm and some other improvements. But I don't see that drastic of a jump this time, but there should a pretty good improvement.
