All I see is Halle Berry. LOL

He did say that they had two original IP's underway... no specifics as to what consoles they would be on, however. I think the rumor mill kind of stuck it to PS3 being he had said on another account that he thought PS3 would win the "next-gen" war.

I'd still like to see what Ready at Dawn could do with on a 360 or PS3, though. But I guess being a smaller developer, it would be harder to do a big budget game on those, considering they can do a Wii game cheaper and have a bigger possible audience.

Ah well, C'est la vie.

Well, if you wanted to spend a few more hundred, a good graphics card would really beef that system up. I know that'd suck being you already paid 1300, but if you wanted to PC game more, you'll only need one part replaced.

But they are insanely pretty settings to run any game at. For someone who PC games quite regularly, I have to admit consoles can't touch what modern PC's can.

Remember folks, RSX in the PS3 is a slightly modified GeForce 7800GTX. The Xenos in the 360 is a similarly powered card from ATI. That means that the PS3 and 360 are already two GPU generations behind, and horribly underpowered in comparison. That's why you see games running in 580, or 640.. and having to be upconverted. Th...

I think we'll be seeing me riding to work on a Chocobo before we see FF XIII on a 360.

Look at the guy controlling it. That's a Wiimote. LOL

Then it'd be Bushido Blade, not Soul Caliber.

Well, I personally can see how the Xenos could be more powerful than RSX based on specs. But all in all, it seems they are pretty comparable.

If any of you are ACTUAL computer geeks and know what you're talking about, Anand wrote up a detailed breakdown of the two consoles back during the launching days. Although things have changed in the graphic card world since then, the breakdowns are still there.

I've been pretty disappointed with the retro selection myself. While Earthworm Jim and Boogerman bring very special smiles to my face, the fact that some of my favorite Nintendo games are not coming brings a tear to my eye.

If you never played it, Hulk: Ultimate Destruction was a blast!! Ripping apart a bus and using the halves as gauntlets... frackin A!!

Even then, it depends on what you want out of your games. You want the highest setting in every game that gets released, then you're buying graphics cards every year. You want a decent level for a few years, then you can keep the same card a while.

PC gaming CAN be incredibly expensive.. or it can be only mildly more expensive than console gaming. Up to the user.

35mm film has more enough "resolution" (film doesn't have lines of resolution like digital displays, but can be comparatively figured) to fulfill 1920x1080.

Film actually comes out to around 2500x1400 resolution. The only problem is that in the past, the equipment used to transfer the film over to displays wasn't sophisticated enough to get in all of the detail.

Now that the equipment has caught up, we'll be seeing many of these old movies in silky smooth ...

Eagle21... why don't YOU read the Wikipedia for a change? Or even better, some technical specs of Blu-ray. It uses alot more than Java. Java is only for the interactivity part, it is NOT a video codec.

One easy example... VC-1. While a consortium runs the standard, it is primarily a MS development. And it is a mandatory spec of the Blu-ray standard.

Point is, MS has their hands on a lot of software floating out there, and some of it is used by Sony.

I personally haven't seen any at all, but even with those you mentioned, in comparison to uberhyped games such as Halo 3, there are no television ads.

I love Uncharted. Ran through it again yesterday as I'm out of new games until Tuesday.

Oh yeah... I agree.

I don't really care if it were out right now. I have no desire for more of the "drive here, shoot this guy, drive back" routine. I had to make myself finish the campaign because i'd finally gotten around to buying Echochrome.
