Cant say this is a suprise, I feel like I have bought the games at least three times over the generations.....not that I regret it, they are such special games.
Ellie all the way for me, with Elizabeth a close second and in 3rd would have to be Beyonetta.

Complete hyperbole, I am getting to the point where I feel that opinion pieces should no longer be up for submission to this site.
It is so rare now that a proper journalist publishes a genuine article, I feel like they all have an agenda of there own, usually to get hits by cooking up the worst headline and flamebait articles they can think of.
Its a shame because it completely undermines any legitimate discussion, for some, Titanfall is there favourite shoo...
As someone who has played Battlefield on PC since 1942 I am really surprised at this story.
PC gamers can cook up all the excuses they like, but there really are not all that many top tier multiplayer shooters out there to choose from that are taking gamers away from BF4, its not like it was in years gone by where there were a dozen genuine options. Even if there were, the size of the PC userbase is big enough to support many games.

Please, please, please make it possible to appear offline. Surely the easiest thing to implement but it would make such a difference to my gaming, I am constantly hiding from workmates by unplugging my router.
Dont think of things of winning and losing but the reveal was definately refreshing. I feel like there are very few suprises these days......I just wish I was man enough to enjoy pt, I turned it off after 10 mins as my nerves were in shreds! :)
I was really underwhelmed too, I thought the time bending mechanics were handled better (and years before quantum) in Singularity, a criminally overlooked game.
I just thought that for all the claims about originality as soon as I saw the pause mechanic it immediately brought Singularity and bullet time from max payne too mind.....it looked good fun, but not mindblowingly original.

pretty fed up of how self entitled hard to please some section of the community are.
I am around 3/4 of the way through and noticed maybe onevor two pop ins but I didnt stop and stare, just play on and they arent a problem literally a second later. As a long time pc player I find it incredible that people are getting this bent out of shape over such minor issues.
There is so much to enjoy in this game and you must be crazy if a few minor glitches are enough ...
Part of the problem is that the Steam sales have set a low benchmark for prices and the consumer now expects deals around this ballpark price which is of course quite unrealistic.
Having said that, these prices can hardly be considered as sales with the retail versions having been available at cheaper prices than these digital copies.
I think that there is a balance to be struck with these sale prices where they are offering a great deal for the consumer but st...
Both sides are very vocal but the proof is in the pudding....if they sell then there is clearly a market and a desire for remasters from a good portion of the community.
For me, I am happy for them to exist as looking at the line up over the next year there are stacks of new games coming out on top of these remakes of critically acclaimed titles.
I will be picking which remasters I do pick up carefully but I will be all over TLOU and GTA5 for sure as I loved ...
I have been using headsets for the last 5 years andcwould never go back.
I love to have my volume quite loud and immerse myself in yhe atmosphere of a game and I could never to tjis with a home theatre setup without disturbing my family and worse still, my next door neighbour.
Noise pollution is not acceptable in my opinion, I dont want to listen to a neighbours music or tv any more than they want to listen to the gunfire and explosions from my gaming sessio...
I am definitely in the camp that are excited for this game, I cannot wait to revisit the game again even though I finished it 4 times on PS3. My only disappointment is that they didnt rework the trophies as I hated how you were not awarded the easy trophies upon completion of the game on harder difficulies.
Wasnt crazy about the online trophies either.
Lots of arm chair business analysts leaving comments but I have to imagine that this is done purely because there is not enough profit to make it a viable platform, EA simply would not cut off a revenue stream if they were making plenty of profit.
Reckon the timed exclusivity could hurt this on ps4.
It might have been a nice launch game which interested many new PS4 owners had it been released at launch, with peeps excited to try new games on their new console, however with all the games that will be landing from August 1st onwards I just see this slipping under the radar of a large portion of the PS4 demographic.

Loved the original Metro on PC so excited for the chance to revisit a brilliant gaming universe again. Also seems like an awful lot of game for the money.
I will deffo pick it up but I am already getting The Last Of Us and Diablo 3 in August.....damn this stupid games drought ;)
An option I would take over any other is the ability to 'appear offline'. I have a bunch of work colleagues and mates who constantly nag to play online which gets frustrating when all I wanna do is play some single player stuff.
yeah, this is how I feel too. However, there are large gaps in the timeline of TLOU that could well have been explored to create single player dlc that might just have scratched that 'I want more' itch.
Perhaps a movie would be an option?
For me this sounds completely counter productive.
Instead of focusing on concepts such as empathy, compassion and other positive characteristics that could demonstrate female values and strengths they do something like this that does nothing more than make even the most liberal of males think 'what hell, is this a joke?'
If they want to foster discussion and awareness of female issues then there are much better ways than creating a game where instead ...
