MAG was so under appreciated.
Rather play Fallout 3, New Vegas or Fallout 4 personally.
I can see how being misled by hype from a demo could happen dude, it's why I also very rarely preorder games.
In this instance though, I played the demo through twice and was still wanting more, it just really landed with me in respect of the gameplay and production design, I loved how it looked and sounded.
I think the devs did a great job with the demo, giving us a taste of gameplay from later in the game when you are more leveled up with more comba...
I just don't see it happening given the success of Elden Ring. I think we'll be seeing a sequel to Elden Ring before anything else.
I have preordered off the strength of the demo, I absolutely loved it, the gameplay was great and I absolutely loved the music.
Glad to hear Ronin is decent mate, it's high on my list to play next as I have been hooked on Shogun on Disney and need more! I grew up playing games through the 80s and I think this made me super chilled about graphics and performance, one benefit of being and old fart I guess😄
Have a great day squire
Because I have never seen any one individual behave the way you do here, you are such a negative force here on N4G, I only wish we still had the bubble system.
I agree folk need to give the benefit of the doubt and are even justified in being excited because the game really does look great.
But I think overhyping every MS release is equally as frustrating to many gamers. You know its just the extremist fringes of the gaming community who are being negative, right? You are better off ignoring these idiots, I am a playstation guy personally, we aren't all headcases, most people are rational.
I suppose the game isn't finished yet though, Ninja Theory may still polish some of those rough edges yet, maybe?
Dear God Obscure, you haven't played it squire, how about being objective just for once!
I get being excited, but to call something we know relatively little about a masterpiece without even playing it is ridiculous.
Curious to know how you have arrived at that conclusion when so little gameplay has been shown off jwillj2k4.
How about showing Ninja Theory some respect and acknowledging the hard work and talent required to make this game.
Real people worked really hard on this game and you choose to act like a 5 year old. Wait to play the game before you start with your criticism. Even then, if you don't like it that doesn't mean others wont, just accept it w...
As someone who enjoys Assassin's Creed and Far Cry, that sound pretty good to me.
You really are a soulless bore pal, you need to chill out, you can accept the odd joke about your beloved plastic box you know!!
Looks like I caught an absolute whopper on this fishing trip 😂😂😂
It's certainly an interesting subject to discuss. I think there are bigger games that reach a threshold where that repute translates into a game still being attractive to gamers who never played the originals. But I can't help but think that when we call for a remake of some PS1 or PS2 era titles, we all have notions of Resident Evil 2 remake, FF7 remake or even the reboot of God of War and the reality is, most PS1 games we all loved could never be guarenteed to attract an audience ...
What a fantastic game that was!
I can't help but think that a lot of the games getting a mention here only have cache with gamers of a particular age and in fact, its probably not a smart move to invest 10s of millions into remakes.
The majority of gamers won't care about or have any familiarity with a lot of these titles. I say this as an old fart who played PS1 as a 21 year old and has very strong nostalgia for that generation.
Game looks great.....can't wait to play it on my PS5😜
The trouble is squire, the extremist end of the XBox community ARE that dumb, they have propped up the Xbox brand at every turn for years and bought every lie spat out by MS.
Hell, I cannot imagine another company surviving if their product had the same failure rate as the 360, but folk would even defend MS in this regard back in the day.
I got to around 120 hours before the novelty wore off and I started playing other games.
I still dip in which is impressive given I am not much of an online guy or a shooter guy. Absolutely brilliant game
