I dont think Wolfy was overlooked critically, the game was really well received but I agree, if it didnt sell well then it has been criminally overlooked as the game was fabulous.

Despite enjoying the Creed games I must say I think they could do with a break I think people are getting burned out with annual releases.

I also clocked around 35 hours into Unity and had no problems either. It looked incredible and ran as well as any other AC game I played (I played them all on PS3 or PS4).

The game was pretty good too, my only real gripes are with the game design itself, namely that there are too many collectibles in the game, but this could just be my OCD-like need to collect everything in games.

Ubi have given me some amazing entertainment this lasy year with Rayman being ...

I agree with New Monday, I feel like there has been a concerted effort by various sites to try and foster a negative vibe around this game.

In fact I feel like I only ever see negative articles here on N4G.

Because journalists have no idea what the average gamer wants or enjoys any longer. They have become jaded, self entitled and most are also pushing their own agendas.

No matter what the game, if it interests me I will play it. Had I listened to these self proclaimed experts I would have missed the likes of The Evil Within, Infamous SS, Watchdogs and AC Unity and I had a hell of a lot of entertainment from these games.

As for members of this community, there...

Why the hell MS didn't get rid of this utter cretin when they had their reorganisation I will never know.

He has been completely silent for a year and as soon as they are rumoured to have sold more in one region he is banging the drum.

If MS want to really change their image with gamers other than their die hard fans then they need to move away from these characters who were and still are so divisive.

I love the Devil May Cry series as much as the next guy, but have to laugh at people who cry foul about how DmC changed the character as if the story and characters in the original were deep and meaningful.

The game was always about the cool action and combo's, the story and characterisation were hardly Shakespeare like.

I recall the backlash at the last gen release of DmC and thought it was quite pathetic, with lots of moaning from the ever increasing se...

I am so close to pulling the trigger on a Wii U, the library of games is so very tempting and very different to the games I am enjoying on PS4 and PC.

I havent owned a nintendo system since the N64 and I am feeling very nostalgic for Nintendo lately, there really isnt a substitute for a good 1st party Ninty game.

If he didnt like the series from the start I have to question why he would want to play each release.

The series sell well enough and the are plenty of people who do enjoy the games and I include myself in that.

I have said it before and I'll say it again, what is gained from writing these negative opinion pieces, wouldnt we all prefer to have a positive articles about our games?

I am sure the figure is on the rise, gaming is becoming more mainstream every year and it stands to reason that the more mainstream it becomes the more varied the userbase will become.

My daughter is 18 and she plays PS3 and PS4 games regularly however her tastes differ a great deal compared to my 15 year old son. Story is the primary factor in determining her interest with Heavy Rain, Walking Dead, The last of Us and Uncharted being her favourites.

I think ...

I am a huge Uncharted fan and a I am happy to admit, a huge fan of all things Playstation. As such I admit I am hardly impartial but.....SURELY there is no way this event can be seen in a negative light, it was back to back games and they even threw in Plants v Zombies for free.

I hate to label people, everyone is entitled to their opinion but this guy would hate Sony no matter what they did.

I thought it was a fabulous event personally. The quanity, quality and variety of games on show was staggering with only one or two missteps, mainly the FF7 reveal (gutted that it wasnt a remake).

I have long felt that there is way to much negativity in games media, even the likes of Giantbomb who I respect and watch daily as a paying subscriber are off putting to watch at times because they come across as jaded.

Thats why I enjoyed this event so much, it rea...

The best way to experience FFVII these days is on Vita/PSP, it looks fab on a screen that size.

As someone who was utterly blown away by the quality, variety and quantity of the games on show at PSX I was very underwhelmed by this announcement as I did think they were unveiling a remake at first, quite disappointing when the video kicked in.

I guess it is still cool that you can play it on PS4, even if it is looking quite dated.

I have zero respect for Gamespot, as soon as they were rumbled for letting advertising fees affect a review outcome they loose all credibility.

I am honestly reaching the point where I am starting to completely ignore opinion pieces, they are rarely positive about there subject matter.

I am having to stop myself ranting right now to be honest, why dont these pathetic excuses for journalists use there position to concentrate on positive articles, I for one wou...

Loved what I saw of Gang Beasts when the GiantBomb guys play it on Unprofessional Fridays, it always, ALWAYS looked like a riot.

This event surpassed E3 for me, Sony are going to kill it over the next 12 months.

For me, without question, the most compelling stories in video games have always been linear in design.

The Uncharted series, The Last of Us and even the likes of COD: AW gave me a great experience with a story I was invested in.

As much as I love open world games I rarely find the story as compelling, mostly because in my opinion it is diluted by the endless collecting of items and side quests.

This game looks amazing, from the art design, t...

Really excited to play this again.

I played it in one mammoth sitting after a Steam sale and adored it but regretted not savouring it more at the time, this will give me the perfect opportunity.

That PS experience was pretty incredible I thought.

Pretty sure Sony would have had this event planned for a good while, they are afterall celebrating an important milestone with this event.

Maybe it has mushroomed into a bigger event than originally planned but who can blame them based on the interest being shown?

As far as I am concerned, if you cannot be excited about this event then you really shouldn't be in the games journalist business.....of course, I am likely giving this author to much credit by ...

I would love for this to happen and there is no reason why it couldn't if Activision were offered a reasonable deal, even if it was just licencing the IP.

I can dream :)

Sony really were at the forefront of pushing gaming into mainstream culture. Regardless of allegiance, Playstation should be appreciated by all for what they have achieved over the last 20 years.

I can remember getting my PS1 at launch and playing the shit out of Wipeout, Ridgeracer and Toshinden for weeks, later the likes of Resident Evil were astounding at the time.

However things turn out in future I will always appreciate Sony (and Nintendos) contribut...
