Yup, I agree. Its the first time I have ever needed to leave a horror game paused and go and sit with my wife to calm down, it really was terrifying to me.
Have you even played it? Its not exactly crammed with scares, its just superbly crafted. There is no reason not to beleive that the full game will be put together just as well.
If it makes you feel better to be negative about games before they have even seen a release then I feel sorry for you. I am constantly excited by almost every new game that gets announced.
The arguement about whether it qualifies as a game or not is irrelevant to me, I shit myself with Outlast and Alien but nothing I have ever played in my 30+ years of gaming scared me the way P.T. did.
People are too quick to view their own opinions as fact, for me, it was the scariest experience of 2014 (and beyond), for others it might be something else. Quite how anyone can tell me what affected me more is baffling to me.
Like you I am a Sony fan and also a gamer so when a game comes out on another console I have no problem accepting that it looks awesome and luckily I am in a position to have just picked up a Wii U.
It will be my 1st Nintendo console since SNES and its simply because the games on that platform seem irresistible this time around especially when combined with stuff from virtual console.
I have been quite happy with the exclusives on ps4 so far with The Last of Us, Infamous and Killzone being especially good.
Sony has nothing to prove as far as exclusive content goes and there is no reason not to think that they will have a very strong 2015. Between my PS4 and the Wii U I have no problem beleiving that this year is goingbto be awesome.
Okay, I caved in.......I have a Wii U en route from Nintendo.co.uk with MarioKart and Mario 3D World, to say I am excited is an understatement!
Let me know the name of your Website/channel so I can make sure I never visit it.
It may just be a piece of consumer electronics but its the priciple of the stunt that bothers me. To destroy something that many genuine fans out there would cherish for financial gain is just a shitty way of behaving.
There is a real lack of positivity in the gaming community these days, I want a site that promotes games, is joyful and upbeat and hosts content from people who ...
I am so close to picking up a Wii U at the moment. I played the NES and SuperNES back in the day but have not owned a Nintendo system since, although I did play on an N64 at a pals.
Over the years I have always fancied picking up the Nintendo system of the day but found it hard to justify however I feel like the time is right for me this time around.
The exclusives look amazing and I like the idea of catching up on missed gems from the original Wii via the s...
I am desparate to pick up a Wii U, I will never understand this kind of mentality.
I am pleased to see LBP3 doing quite well but very suprised to see Sunset Overdrive so far down the list, that game looks awesome, infact, its the only game that has made me want an Xbox so far.
I think it would be interesting if MS did sell off XBox, I am not saying I beleive this article, just that I would find it interesting.
Where would peoples loyalty lie, is it with Microsoft or with the XBox brand? Would people move to Sony or Nintendo consoles if the new owner of XBox was a company such as Google?
Would the Xbox brand become more popular if it was no longer associated with MS?
For me personally I think I would be more inter...
Quite a poor list in my opinion with no appreciation seemingly given to art design and creativity. The artstyle in the likes of Beyonetta 2 and MarioCart8 and most other Ninty first party games makes them very striking in my opinion.
Also any list that doesnt contain Infamous is clearly lacking, in my opinion that game was one of the most striking I have played. It was supurb on a technical level and also had nice art direction too.
Your argument is flawed as Battlefield, the open world shooter is better looking than COD, a more linear experience.
Ultimately you can make excuses but the fact remains that DriveClub is a nicer looking game, not that it matters, both a fine racing games.
It all depends on what metric you are using to base your decision on.
If we are talking sales then there is a clear winner, if we are talking exclusives then in my opinion Nintendo were best (although TLoU is still the best exclusive game available).
If we are talking games in general then I feel its pretty much a dead heat, the advantage enjoyed by ninty in the exclusive games department is cancelled out by the lack of 3rd party support.

If we are talking exclusivesvi would suggest Nintendo. As a Playstation gamer there is only one console I am considering as a second console and it aint xb1.
This is one company that I will never buy from, I have never known them to offer a fair price EVER!
Their prices for new releases are as bad as PSN and thats saying something!
Has to be The Last of Us for me. The work that went into the new lighting, the smoothness ofvthe framerate and improved graphics, all the MP dlc content and the fantastic single player dlc all went into improving on what was for me, the best game ever made.
Nice to read a positive article for a change, this is the type of opinion piece I like to see.
For me The Last of Us is the greatest game I have ever played and I dont make that statement lightly. I have never played a game with so much detail in the world, such high production values and such incredible characters.
I am fortunate enough to buy a couple of games a month and so get to experience a lot of games but I have never played such an immersive game as...
Rayman was as good a game as I have played this year, perfect in every way from the visuals and audio all the way through to the pitch perfect difficulty.
Also up there would be Valiant Hearts and The Evil Within.
It actually went the other way for me, it has made me wonder if it might be a little too much for me to handle :)
