Oh my god, YES!!!!! Would love them to tweak the difficulty a little though, those games get tough, tough, tough!
Yup, that Master Chief Collection was fantastic, a perfect remaster.......except you couldnt play it!
Funny how you didnt mention The Last of Us, how come? Didnt it fit in with your skewed arguement?
While I always intended to buy this I was thinking I would wait as I am more fired up for Metal Gear. I think this deal has forced my hand a little and I will defo pick this up this side of Christmas now.
What a great incentive, well played MS, well played!
Nice to see other fans of Access on here :) love this team to bits.
Most recently I ploughed over 120 hours into Bloodborne and I still have the itch tomplay it again, amazing game. On a one more go theme, I would have to say Battlefield 4, I have 500 hours logged now and still find it impossible to switch it off.
Yeah, Valkyria Chronicles is in my top 10 PS3 games, just an incredible game, I was always bummed out that the sequels were only on PSP and never made it to home console.
In my opinion it has nothing to do with the quality or perceived popularity of the titles, it has everything to do with time.
There are so many games releasing from the end of August onwards that even the wealthiest of consumer will pick and choose which titles they want to play more.
Will there be people who buy both Fallout and TombRaider? Of course there will, but there will be just as many (probably more) who will have just bought HALO, Forza and, in Eur...
Sounds like a whole lot of game for the money, aren't they each a big time investment?
Do they have a story running throughout the series, if so perhaps playing them on my PS3 is a good idea.
I have never played one of these titles but havd always been curious about them. I love turn based games and really like the artstyle of these games but they have always seen very daunting to jump into.
Maybe this is the one I will try?
So far my experiences of remastered games has been nothing but positive. Titles such as Metro, Grim Fandango, Borderlands 2, GTA5, HALO and the best of them all, The Last of Us have offered me countless hours of entertainment.
They sit on my shelf alongside titles such as Sunset Overdrive, Alien, Batman, Witcher 3, Bayonetta 2, Shadows of Mordor, Farcry4, The Order, Destiny and a couple of dozen other games which just reinforce the FACT that there are still plenty of 'ne...
My god I couldnt agree more, I would do anything to play a remastered Bioshock. Just thinking about a remastered Rapture makes my dizzy!
The Last of Us takes top honours for me but I can totally understand why someone might choose Fallout 3, it really is an incredible game.
Nice article, fun to read :)
This is a good deal but Shopto have really gone downhill over the last year or so. They used to be so reasonable but since they got popular and branched out into selling other kinds of goods they seem to have lost interest in offering competitive prices.
Its a real shame as I swore by them for years but there are almost always cheaper options out there where new releases are concerned.
To be fair, I suspect its the "Microsofts" Kudo Tsunoda that Ronson is making a point about.
Yup, this was one of the titles that led to me buying a XB1. This game looked dazzling at E3 and was the stand out title for me at MS's conference.
MS have definately reached a tipping point where even if you are only interested in exclusives, there is plenty to enjoy and look forward on XB1.
Pleased for Evolution Studios, it was a rough launch but they really recovered well. I personally loved DC, it played really well and sported production values that were second to none.
Really hope they work on a PS4 MotorStorm title, I loved that series so much.
I played this on PC when it first came out and remember it being fantastic fun. I particularly remember its rendition of HongKong feeling really authentic and so, very different to the usual game settings.
I really want to play this, I love the art style and when you see people play it, it looks awesome.....trouble is I am utterly useless at StreetFighter :(
Great news for Sony, it just demonstrates how out of touch many insustry pundits were when they jumped on the 'mobile will kill off consoles' and 'the public dont want another generation of traditional console' bandwagons a year or two ago.
I am a huge Sony fan so it makes me really pleased to see PS4 flourishing like it is.
@Septic
I feel that the problem with the titles that MS are offering this autumn is that we have already seen a previous major release in each of those series, namely Forza and Halo.
You have to imagine that the hardcore XB fans will have made their purchase already and so I am not convinced we will see these huge percentage increases that some are suggesting. They will see an increase, sure, but not enough to worry Sony.
I feel like they ha...
Imagine a Valkyria Chronicles collection with the hand held games reworked for home consoles, that would be awesome.
Then a Bioshock bundle, I would lose my mind if that ever gets an announcement.
