Pretty great, made me titter anyway :)
Last gen I personally always felt like owning both consoles was hard to justify, particularly as MS's exclusives tailed off over the last 3 years or so of the generation while Sony kept on delivering to the bitter end with the likes of TLOU, Puppeteer and Ni No Kuni.
This time around I have no such reservations, being primarily a PS gamer I still buy my multiplatform stuff for PS4 but you have to give MS credit, they are absolutely smashing it with thier exclusives so far...
If I had to choose, I would pick a remaster every time. When I think about the likes of The Last of Us, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, MGS, HALO: MCC or the majority of others I have bought, they have always offered a muvh improved experience of my favourite games.
This does look really great and I am excited to have another title to play on my WiiU. Have to say though, it really makes me sad that Sony dumped Liverpool Studio as their Wipeout games were easily my favourite futuristic racers.
There was something about the asthetics and music that just raised the WipeOut games far above the competition for me.
I remain optimistic as Remedy are a good developer and I really enjoyed Alan Wake. I must say though, that the mechanics do seem much more mainstream and action orientated than Wake.
I guess the details of the time bending mechanics are still largely unknown so there is still a good chance of some cool or new gameplay mechanics to freshen up the shooty/fighty action.
If what are considered 'core' gamers refuse to get on with each other, good luck trying to get them to accept the more casual end of the spectrum as equals.
I have seen quite a few videos of this game and I really like the look of it. I have added to my backlog list to make sure I dont forget it, quite excited to play this actually, just need to finish Galak-Z first (which is incredible btw).
I really like the cuurent UI but would give anything to be able to hide/remove icons I dont want, particularly in the TV category where there are loads of app shortcuts to apps I dont have and will never want.
This redesign is cool but I dont think its needed. I would be interested in seeing this guys take ok an XB1 UI redesign, there are definately improvements to be made there.
I know this is going to be unpopular, but I really, really enjoyed DriveClub. Now admittedly I arrived at the party a couple of months late so never experienced the worst of the problems and I am not an online gamer either, but after an hour or two of getting used to the handling I was loving every minute of the racing.

Singularity was a tremendous game that was criminally overlooked. Why anyone would choose the likes of COD over something so original as Singularity, I will never understand.
I guess people move on to hating on whatever the latest victim of the internet hate campaign leaving the more positive word of mouth from those who actually played the games.

I had so much fun with the likes of Watchdogs, AC: Unity, Knack, Thief and many others that were hammered online. I almost never pay any mind to reviews anymore and certainly ignore the ranting that goes on over the internet.
I think the one that stands out most in recent times was Unity. It was an Assassins Creed game, people know what kind of games these are and whether its for them or not as far as gameplay...
While the gameplay was generic I actually really enjoyed the plot. While I wouldn't suggest that its a great game I do think its decent enough to warrant picking up considering how cheap it is these days.
Enslaved was a grossly under appreciated title, I loved every minute of that game.
I have Remember Me from PS+ and definately hope to play it but I have so many other games vying for my attention. Currently playing Galak-Z a very recent title that doesnt seem to be getting the buzz it deserves, the game is flippin' brilliant.

Cannot wait to play this game, one of the main reasons that I picked up an XB1 as I knew I would want to play it as soon as the developer was anounced.
Having seen the new trailer from GC I am completely sold, it looks ridiculous, over the top, bonkers but most of all, fun!
Addressing the question at hand, I thinknthey are both very impressive but DriveClub takes it from a visual perspective.
I consider myself something of a driving game fan, in fact, they are my favourite genre of games. DriveClub takes a while to get used to because the lines between arcade and sim physics really are blurred, but once you get used to them DriveClub really is a terrific game.

There are many good reasons to buy a second console, but this doesn't seem to be one of them, in my opinion.

I actually have MCC, I am currently working through the 3rd game at the moment. They are cracking games but to suggest it was a perfectly handled remaster when it was so rife with bugs, was not full 1080p, stutters regularly and contained essentially previously released remasters is disingenuous.
Its clear to me that there was agenda at play with getshreks comment.
