Fantastic game, loved my time with it and will deffo go back for another run through. Would love a Demon Souls remaster or another Bloodborne next personally.
Nice stealth edit there MichealLito, my earlier comment embarrassed you then?!
Cost, plain and simple. Digital copies cost on average 12 -15 pound more than a retail copy here in the UK. For example, Watchdogs 2 is £55 to preorder from PSN or I can buy it from my usual online retailer for £43, its a huge difference.
I also like my collection and the ability to let my buddies borrow games when I am done.
@MichealLito
For all your talk of Sony fanboys the tone and language used in your post makes you seem equally as toxic and petty.
Hype is such a weird thing, I dont feel like the developer or publisher has been pushing the game any more than other devs and publishers with other titles. I feel like there have been many negative articles if anything with people questioning the mechanics of the game for a long time now.
So while the game has seen a lot of coverage over the last year or two I dont think that coverage could be seen as hype as such.
Still just an XB1 at the end of the day, the only benifit is that it would gather less dust than the one I currently have.
Joking aside, it is a much nicer looking console than the original but I still think the PS4 is a nicer looking piece of hardware.
Jeez, lighten up squire, its pure escapism. The stories are fun, the missions varied and often exciting and the gameworlds are almost unparalleled.
My personal favourite series is Uncharted but I have absolutely loved every GTA dating back to GTA on PS1.
If someone told me GTA was there fave series I could totally get on board with that, the games are incredible and I feel they always get better with every iteration. Vice City is still my fave but I clearly and vividly remember the excitement I felt when each new gta title was released.
Loved this game back in the day but I remember even back then thinking that the controls were clunky so I do wonder just how well this game has aged. Will deffo look to play it again though, still my fave in the series, I loved the bosses in this game, completely batshit crazy.
Not going to be a popular opinion, but I dont quite understand the hype for Crackdown 3. The first game was decent but got very repetitive and the second game was poor in my opinion so I dont see another game in the series as all that exciting, there are many more games I am more excited for.
I think this also demonstrates just how bad an idea it is to announce your games so far in advance, something lots of devs seem to do these days.
I love the Hotshot series and am excited for a PS4 version but, when the showed it last it was a little underwhelmed, I didnt like the 'Mii' type characters they showed runnjng around at all, I like the character models they usually include in the series much more.
This seems fair enough, but if you really want to foster a positive community I reckon bringing some new restrictions on pure flamebait articles would be a great idea. N4G can be a really toxic place at times.
As cool as BC is, its pretty crazy how some sections are pushing the importance of this feature.
As daft as the decision to remove the nipples was, it seems just as crazy to actually get worked up into a frezy about it....talk about 1st world problems!
I think any sane person would agree that BC is a nice feature. The reason this flame war is occurring is because of the shoddy article that is totally overstating its importance.
Wow, you are a lovely guy arent you, I am sure you will be a positive force in the gaming community.....vile.
Who honestly gives a damn, I guess I am just an old fart, but I willl never, EVER understand how people watch these idiots play a game.
I am excited to play it personally. I have XB1 and PC but I have loads to play and decided to wait to play it on my platform of choice. I was really disappointed when it was announced as a timed exclusive, mainly because it was originally planned as a multiplatform title before that E3 reveal.
Despite this I still want to play the game on PS4 and depending on what other titles are around at the same time I will get on in or near release. I do wonder how it will stackmup ...
Apology accepted chief, but you seriously are aggressive when you are drunk!
As Welly has said, honestly, here in the UK the 'deals' on PSN are generally terrible, with exception of Battlefront and NHL all those titles were cheaper at retail than these deals. It very rare that you have to pay more than 40 quid for a new release if you shop around and within 3 weeks you can usually pick up a title for nearer 30 quid.
I am a huge PlayStation guy, ...
I loved the God of War series, I dont quite understand why so many turned aganst the games personally. At the time of each release the games offered an incredible spectacle with fun gameplay and a pretty good, swords and sandles story.
Having said that, I think the change of direction was needed as the games needed freshening up. Really excited by what I saw of GOW at E3, I think this game is going to be amazing.
