When I began to read your initial sentences I thought you were being sarcastic. And then I sort of cringed and moved on

Felt the same way when the DS Lite came out, and I was 11

When you pay $60 or less for a game that has triple that worth in quality content. Ala The Witcher, Dying Light, etc.

2248d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

You mean for not ‘evolving’ their content. There is no need for there to be 1000 pokemon to catch in a game. They need to fix their lackluster story along with their outdated and simple gameplay loop. Children can handle a more layered difficulty curve.

Hey at least the Victoria Secret CMO gives zero f’s. True to himself and what he believes. One of the bravest and realest comments I’ve read from an executive in a long time.

RE 7 was a very condensed and linear experience. Hence why I mentioned Dying Light as an example. RE4 but with more world depth & meaningful things to do. Doesn’t even need to be open world as Monster Hunter World & Outer Worlds are pure examples of why open world is not necessary to provide deep & larger experience.

Seriously hoping RE8 is something that catches us all off guard, similar to how Monster Hunter World Evolved that franchise. 3rd person with a huge expansive world full of great gameplay progression and depth in the world would be a great direction in my opinion. Dying Light esque.

This franchise as a fleshed out rpg with the same beloved story, quests/missions & platforming would be king.

If they ever made a new handheld it would NEVER, I repeat, it would “never” be for a separate library of games. This would be for the consumer to play ps5 games on.

Way too damn easy. Literally requires no thought process or any strategy. No evolved gameplay loop or progression system. Ni no kuni for example had a intricate and deep system & was able to be played by “kids” as well. No excuses for gamefreak man.

Let’s be real, the games have been half baked for years. When you look at deep & massive titles/rpg’s (that yes could still technically cater to younger audiences) Pokemon games are a joke when compared.

I just don’t under why they can’t simply add harder difficulty “OPTIONS.” Seems lazy at this point.

Release the Open World RPG

2263d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yea hoping they heavily invest in more iconic rpg’s. Sci fi would be great as well

Max & Brian were funny in 2015 and good hosts when greg left and they filled in. Those 2 brought the right balance of humor i literally laughed every episode. Dornbush is the issue while Lucy Is also bland in her opinions

Don’t mind reducing the number of Pokémon to even 150 if the world is breathtaking and full of other meangingful tasks/quests to tackle. Similar to other massive AAA titles. They need to revolutionize and evolve the gameplay loop and rpg mechanics. If they did so they could start again at 150(151) and work from there.

Waiting for them to add 3D Dot Game Heroes. A forgotten FromSoftware gem.

Yea they could have really fleshed out a more grounded rpg based on young Goku from Dragon Ball and made it a great rpg as well but less arcade-y. The storylines from the series would make for a great rpg with excellent pacing if done correctly.
