Not to sound negative, but this is what was promised of the previous game however it was not the case at all.
It’s very simple. They cannot and will not keep this up forever. They are eating the cost trying to get as many subs as possible until they raise the price. Also for those who have been gaming for years, a lot of the games on there are simply not appealing. Especially for those who have specific gaming preferences.
If ammo is everywhere why not play on hard then? And not to be rude, but he left the company on his own accord for a senior position at Bungie, he is doing this for a pay raise and a promotion to further his career. Capcom did not force him out the game is considered a success
I definitely agree, just feel as though when you develop a game for this many years you should be able to figure out. Makes me think that they don’t have quality staff for the job
Aren’t they though? According to the internal review of The Last of Us 2
Too bad the execs at Blockbuster literally laughed at Netflix when having buyout discussions. Not sure how they’re feeling now
Didn’t they confirm that there is no upgradable equipment and crafting? To be honest for a game that’s been in development for this many years it’s amateur that they didn’t come up with an in-depth system for their signature franchise.
Dude, excellent interpretation and analysis. Love how these games put actual thought and meaning into nearly every aspect. Leaps and bounds ahead of most western games.
Yup, a huge gripe I have with Sony’s games as of late. The safe combination in the first mission got me excited, only to never see it again. I started looting houses and exploring in the beginning only to get tired of it after a couple hours once I realized that there was nothing to find except for the same old crafting materials. They need to make games with more substance and depth.
I unfortunately don’t think they will ever release the numbers for it
Why would merging both services be an issue? They can merge them both and it is up to them to begin potentially adding some more “day 1” games to the monthly service that people keep whining about. What more would you like from them? Also if they bring back PS Home they could also add some incentives for that as well.
Really hoping after Guerilla is done with the Horizon IP they take everything they learn from an environment perspective and make an actual full fledge RPG
Sony is insane for not already acquiring Square. Sony Pictures and Sony Music would skyrocket in value if they assemble a team to work with the Square division to incorporate all of their properties into television and more music.
With their Japanese roots, and the fact that they have a huge market share in the gaming industry, it is my opinion that they should heavily invest their 1st party efforts into JRPGs/RPGs. The fact that they don’t is embarrassing.
Yup. Thank goodness for Bandai because we all know Sony won’t invest their own studios into the genre.
I’ve always been curious how they figure out who is unlocking achievements through hacking. Wonder if they’re still getting paid out
Still an amazing feat for 20 devs. Congratulations regardless

Thank you. Someone who actual understands speaks up. Too many fanboys on here it’s sad.
To add to your perspective. There was no purpose to explore the world other than collectibles. They really need to take a page from games like Ys IX, Final Fantasy, etc.
