I absolutely hear ya, but remember Square is just publishing both of these titles they can’t micromanage Platinum & Team Ninja. Also Babylon’s fall looks horrible now because they didn’t share prior that it was going to be their own glorified version of Godfall. I’m sure many fans thought it was going to be a co-op narratively driven RPG. Which doesn’t seem to be the case after what they just showcased.

Yes the writing in FFVII, Remake and FFXII were spectacular. I’m assuming Team Ninja may be to blame in regards to this particular title
But who have they acquired as of late other than Insomniac? They don’t acquire or spend real money on anything. Except oddly over $5 billion on car camera technology. Not in the gaming space where they need to grow.
I appreciate your input. It’s unfortunate when people defend its faults. I want Sony to use their hundred of millions to set the bar. In my opinion all they do is set the bar with quality and production values - not in terms of addictive and nostalgic gameplay. Be better than The Witcher, be better than Dragon Age, be better than Diablo, be better than The Elder Scrolls, be better than Xenoblade, be better than Fallout, be better than GTA. Tackle a genre that allows for a rich and lasting exp...
I just don’t understand why people are mesmerized by Horizon. The exploration is near meaninglessness due to the fact that the system and progression lacks depth. You basically go hunting for 3 animals to gather crafting material, enemies drop the same items throughout the game, and all this material does is filter into weapons. No RPG systems whatsoever, no true character progression. I platinumed the game and while it was a fine action/adventure game, I feel that the hype is overstated.
Still not working for me. Unsure if it needs to be downloaded again for it to work or not
The concept is great, the real issue I’m taking with it thus far is the terrible voice acting and writing.
1st one was really good. Anyone who owns a switch should give it a chance
Did I say they are just sitting twiddling their thumbs? All I was emphasizing was the fact that PR is going to say whatever they need to say to spin the narrative in their favor. Even though they have internal plans to move on from consoles in the future it serves no purpose to mention it now.
Sony could do this as well if they actually invested in more studios. Just imagine their output if they did.
They will say whatever they need to say in order to keep fans optimistic in the interim.
So many great games and franchises. Worth the investment. I honestly think they’re either too cheap or they think they can replicate it with their own studios which I don’t believe is the case.
Ouch. Maybe in late 2022.
Pisses me off every time i read through the digital store how we are purchasing a “one time license” for the game. You technically do not own your digital games which is why I will always prefer physical. Unless i get a game for $15 or less
Will these be considered “add-on” trophies or will it be an entirely new complete list?
I was being sarcastic
Also what happened to Scalebound. Will never let it down that the reason I got an XOne was for that game.
Honestly why are people so obsessed with graphics. Immersion is mainly based off gameplay. If the gameplay is engaging and immersive the graphics fall in line. Sick of Sony focusing on high production values and not putting enough resources into gameplay depth and deeper mechanics with engaging content besides the story.
Yess Babylon’s Fall. Don’t fail me now!
Same here. Can’t wait
