“most of their games were quirky but awesome. That's something absolutely missing on Sony's first-party slate without them.”
And Sony isn’t missing massive/quality WRPG’s/JRPG’s from their first party lineup? They have plenty of quirky, awesome (albeit small) platformers and action adventure games. While I agree they should have found another way to expand Japan Studio into something grand, if they don’t plan on filling a prominent hole th...
Idk how Sony as a company does not look at this as something they should be offering. They literally do not know what to do with their Gaikai purchase
Still can’t fathom why they don’t permit creators to accept donations or charge a buck for their games. Supports their cause and efforts while still allowing free created content
Yikes
Anyone know where I can access AfterDark games? That lawn mowing game from Windows 95 was stupid fun
Gamespot just released a nice piece with a Bloodborne speed runner, definitely worth a watch

Microsoft makes no money from the sale of this game physically. Of course they are offering smart delivery they have nothing to lose and everything to gain
Doesn’t the 30% revenue share that goes to the platform holder also account for any dlc/mtx purchases?
Insomniac’s been teasing something of the like on their Twitter every now and then for a while now
But if PSNow was consistently being offered at $1 wouldn’t they have significantly more subs as well?
Could you elaborate?
Great work on this role. Looking forward to what’s next
Yes please flesh out that lore and expand on the universe
While we have differing opinions regarding your first paragraph, I definitely stand by you with your take on Roxas (KHII being in my top 3 games of all time) and Druckman’s execution. On paper his idea is fine but it just didn’t resonate with as many people as it could have. Still successful but you can put stock in the probability that it will never come even close to as beloved as part I.
If Druckman really wanted to pull off the idea of the gamer feeling “anger” and wanting revenge throughout Ellie’s journey, he should have had the player play as Joel for about 1/3-1/2 of the game. This came off to me as forced simply to have the game be about Ellie & Abby. To each their own I suppose.
I actually liked this aspect to the game. It made it fun and luck based but without having to pay a dime in micro transactions. People will always complain about something
I see what you did there.

Whether Sony likes it or not they will eventually embrace PC more than they currently do. They seem to not think long term very well (20+ years in advance)
But where are the RPGs
