Half no... but yeah I agree the SNES had more heavy hitters. As soon as you have multiple FF games, secret of mana , earthbound, etc I don't even need to mention chrono trigger but I will.
I love genesis and phantasy star is one of my favorite series but it doesn't mean it wins the whole comparison because it has a few good punches to throw... SNES is the rpg box but genesis is overlooked
I dont REALLLYYY condone piracy but for a lot of reasons this is probably good. I am sure given the demographic buying switch especially switch light, you arent going to make a giant dent in the profit margins by the few people savy enough to bother with it... I find most pirating is done by people who would not have bought the games/application to begin with, many have come to the same conclusion.
But down the line, when the system becomes a retro system, piracy is not...

Last generation at this time we were 4 years into xbox 360 and 3 years into PS3 So most of these
sales happened more recently than 10 years ago. In TOTAL:
The wii sold 100 mil
PS3 sold 87 mil
360 sold 84 mil.
Do you want to count Wii U? it sold 13.5 mil. I dont know where this should fall.
So something like 280 + million by the end...

The Answer is Halo Reach. I guess if you to be technical, 1 out of 1 is 100% games that I guess arent boring unless you care that the game is literally a decade old and also on PC.
Strike suit is literally on every console and also PC though. I mean its even on switch.

Noctis.... Game pass and PSNow arent the same thing at all. PSNow has current games but its also largely more of an answer to backward compatibility. It has a ton of good games though. STILL isnt apples to apples comparison.
No, this website is a good cross section of the population. You dont have to be a genius to see the worldwide opinion of Sony is higher, they sell more units, more software and so on. So yes.. more people CHOOSE sony. If this site were not Sony-leaning it would be a poor cross section.

The only time the Xbox outsold playstation worldwide was the year from 2005 til 2006 when Xbox rushed the 360 to market (abandoning it's origjnal.xbox in the process) and then, at a higher price point, and a year late PS3 caught up and surpassed the 360, after outselling it worldwide for 60 + consecutive months, even with the heavily inflated shipped numbers due to the red ring of death replacement units and re-purchases .

The down votes probably didn't complete all 3 games. I did and there are some sloowwww parts. The games are fantastic but i think you're right ... only the subset of fanatics like those on n4g would pick it up. People claimed they wanted a new star ocean game and probably forget we even got one on ps4... which is much easier to play than a game like xenosaga but sold pretty mediocre . Just as an example of market forces.

Yes you bought the playstation one games and have the license to play that version of the game on that console. You're acting entitled to play the games on anything . By that logic if a game comes to Xbox and ps4 or pc and Nintendo switch or all 4 you should get them for free because you bought one? You know most of those games came to other systems . Are you saying if i bought ff7 on disc in 1997 that I should get a free copy on steam because square is stil...

Its not an investment. You just mean "buy a PC its worth it". Buying something that doesnt give back any real needed work or time savings isnt an investment, its just you saying "a PC is good, buy one"
A PC itself people have, you can get a good workable non-gaming PC for 50-100 bucks depending on how picky you are, Hell you can probably get one for free from someone if its just for PRODUCTIVE work.
