The GPU has the difference. Mind you the clock rate may make fillrate better on the PS5 and non-split workloads could finish quicker, though I think these days nobody is going to be banking on those kinds of workloads on the GPU. The real world difference between the 12.1...

The gap in gpu tflop is the same gap as Vega 56 to Vega 64. Go look at benchmarks in 4k.
The GPU is 15 percent weaker in ps5. The all core clock is within 100mhz on the 2 consoles cpus. Sony has extra logic dedicated to io, hardware 3d audio, and a storage bus controller (will be done on cpu as far as Xbox can be interpreted right now?)

Until you can count on every console having an SSD,- then you can design games, loading elements and even transitions around knowing for a fact the game will load in 1.25 seconds and not 15.

LOL what? No not always. Sometimes they can tell if its open VS closed loop. VGA is something else and if something is HDCP certified is yet another question. But many RECEIVERS and other things can sort of scale video. Why would anyone care? it doesn't actually change the video hell it probably adds input lag.
