Well, heart rate sensor itself would not be a ton but you may be on to something with the heart rate monitor costing a little battery life- I think it would work like crap because peoples grip on the controller would be too varied and unreliable

I cant see much has changed. By the time PS3 came out so many of the games were already on PC
and XBOX.
PC builds are not more compact now in 2020 than in 2013, Video cards are just as pricey and just as large, produce ...

Sony didnt push that policy beforehand. They never promised any kind of compatibility.
We will see what they do next generation but this past generation it worked out fine for them. People voted with their wallets and went for the PS4 more than twice as often as the XBO.

If Sony releases a game that relies on or I should say, DEPENDS on a feature the PS5 has (Level size is too big for a PS4s memory, or levels would load incredibly slow without the SSD, or the polygon count of EVERY, SINGLE, MODEL would mean that the game runs at 20f...
Its not an investment. You just mean "buy a PC its worth it". Buying something that doesnt give back any real needed work or time savings isnt an investment, its just you saying "a PC is good, buy one"
A PC itself people have, you can get a good workable non-gaming PC for 50-100 bucks depending on how picky you are, Hell you can probably get one for free from someone if its just for PRODUCTIVE work.
Well you mean best PAD. Its def one of the best especially when they're new and tight.
That said on my Saturn I prefer a Hori arcade stick, very nice. Or the japanese virtua stick not the wedge one but the bigger taller model, I dont remember the model number off hand but its nicer and clickier like the Hori.
