Let's be honest ... the main reason people get an X-Box or Playstation is for the multiplatform games. Exclusives are just a bonus.
All you have to do is look at the sales chart. Multiplatform games dominate both their list.

Wii U is imo ... definitely not the best standalone system simply due to the lack of third party games but as a complimentary system to a system that has reliable third party support (PS4, XB1, or Gaming PC) ... the Wii U has the best complimentary exclusive games to date which makes it the best complimentary system to any of the three.

I think this is GREAT news actually. The game didn't look impressive both from a graphics and gameplay standpoint.
Now with more time ... they can make the Star Fox sequel we deserve.
I rather have a great game later on then have a disappointing game early.
Also this is more reason why third party support is needed if you are Nintendo. When you have games like Fallout, Star Wars Battlefront, Call of Duty, NBA 2, Madden, FiFa, Metal Gear...
You should sat WTF America. It is not up to the Japan side to make sure it gets made for the west.
Then how about you buy the game to "play" the practically unlimited stages other people make. You don't have to spend much time at all making a stage yourself.
If you really love Mario games ... you should love an unlimited Mario game.
That ... and the fact that the gen before Nintendo showed the average gamer that they no longer had the 3rd party support they use to have with the NES and Snes.
N64 was filled with droughts due to the lack of third party software.
The Gamecube did have better third party support but the gap between the support the Gamecube had and the PS4 had was a night and day difference still.
So the Gamecube sold even less as even more gamers moved ...

Did you actually read the article? He actually presents a very good case against open world structure and how it's mostly filler wastelands until you get to the real obstacle course.
Then his comparison to Bloodborne/Dark Souls style is spot on. It is open world but every section is an obstacle course. No wasteland thanks to its more stricker design.

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze .... overlooked amazing game. It is one of the best 2D platformers of all time imo.
As a Nintendo fan ... I don't have a choice.
To get that NES/SNES level of third party support along side Nintendo's games ... I have to own a Nintendo system and a Sony/Microsoft system ... or gaming PC.
Wii U - Nintendo
PS4 - Third party machine with Sony as a bonus
XB1 - Third party machine with Microsoft as a bonus.
Together they make a current gen NES/SNES for me.
NX hopefully. I have a Wii U and will get whatever Nintendo's next system is since I love Nintendo the game publisher so why not have a better looking version?
Assuming the NX is more powerful than Wii U of course.
Tomb Raider imo plays better than Uncharted .... but Uncharted does look better but it's not like Tomb Raider doesn't look amazing as well.

Considering we almost didn't get this game ... this is better than nothing.
Unfortunately until the sales show that this is having a negative impact to PS4 ... Sony won't care.
Then don't create much ... just play the over 1 million levels already created in a week.
