Refreshing to see someone admit they might have been wrong.
Nothing official yet of course ... but still nice to see.
Bubble for you sir.
But there is an addition to the statement. Soften the blow is one .... rework it as an NX title is two.
I could come to only one conclusion: If Nintendo go ahead with this, it’s "ONLY" to soften the blow of pushing back the currently-in-development, as yet untitled Legend of Zelda HD, slated for release on the Wii U sometime next year, AND instead rework it as a launch title for the NX, the Wii U’s successor."
He states that is the ONLY reaso...
Agree. One of the reasons why I buy almost every Call of Duty is because it honestly is a package full of content.
No matter how much people want to make fun of Call of Duty ... you got a multiplayer that people play for DAYS, not just hours, a coop Zombie mode that as this article states could be potentially its own game and a story mode that at the very least is filled with huge set pieces.
Very few games have that much content for 60 bucks.
edit deleting this ... duplicate post. Don't see where the delete button is.
After seeing this ... https://youtu.be/W3LVyGZUAa...
... wow.
With no texture packs ... just simply running in HD on Dolphin ... Twilight Princess is a beautiful game.
I think something is missing from this sentence
"After gazing into my crystal ball, I could come to only one conclusion: If Nintendo go ahead with this, it’s only to soften the blow of pushing back the currently-in-development, as yet untitled Legend of Zelda HD, slated for release on the Wii U sometime next year, and instead rework it as a launch title for the NX, the Wii U’s successor."
I think it's suppose to read "it’s 'NOT' onl...
Because if they didn't ... the Wii U was still going to have basically no big newly announced AAA games anyway AND people would think Nintendo is jumping ship from core games.
Instead now those that have money at least feel confident that a new Metroid, Mario, Smash, and other games are coming ... it's just not coming to Wii U.
Zelda U might also turn into a Twilight Princess situation and might be the reason why they gave it a MASSIVE delayed despite...
I found Resident Evil Revelations 2 to be a great game.
Heavily overlooked thanks to the clueless mixed reviews.
Best RE game since 4 easily.
These Journalist also nearly all failed to mentioned Uncharted 3's bad aiming controls.
It was only through fan outcry that ND caught wind of it and patched it a month later.
So yea ... these Journalist either don't play these games or absolutely stink at them to the point that they don't even know what they are playing.
I think if you don't already own the PS3 games ... this is still a great value as the single player stories are all amazing especially thanks to the wonderful characters. Also the PS3 games still look good today.
If you do own the PS3 games like I do ... then there just not enough new on this and its missing HUGE content like the competitive multiplayer AND the COOP which I don't see many people mention.
Those were a ton of fun.
Would have preferred physical disk but digital is better than nothing.
Can't wait!
Zero Mission is a remake as it honestly is a brand new game. New moves/mechanics, new boss patterns, new map design, new areas, new story parts. The only thing it has the same is the story and setting.
Wind Waker HD is just "remastered/Definite Edition".
It is for the most part the same game, same story, same moves/mechanics, same dungeons, same boss patterns, same puzzles.
Bloodborne is my Game of Year so far ... and I don't see that changing.
PS ... MY goty .... not saying it is Game of the Year for anyone else.
Only interested if it's an HD update to the level of Wind Waker HD.
I think this Zelda game might be one of those amazing sleeper titles.
Yea I know ... Zelda a "sleeper"? Well ... that's how little hype this game has gotten despite how good the previews look.
@ marloc_x Which of the many 3rd party adaptors should one buy?
Which ever your friends play on or whichever has the slight edge in exclusives that match your taste.
If you meant that "third party adapter" as a diss ... it's not a good diss considering 90% of the biggest games are third party multiplatform games.
Grand Theft Auto, Fallout, Dark Souls, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Resident Evil, Assassin's Creed, The Witcher, B...
I think there are a good amount of Playstation 4, X-Box owners who would love some of these Nintendo exclusives ... but 300 dollars for a Nintendo adapter is a lot of money for most people.
10/20 = domination?
We all know Sony rules this generation but this isn't a good proof of that.
Gamers love big games and good games .... I am very positive that the gamers that skip buying a Nintendo console would indeed buy a Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Smash, F-Zero, Xenoblade, if a system came with those games AND all their favorite third party games.
Not matter how much people want to say that the exclusives matter ... it is very very very very clear from the sales charts that it is third parties carrying X--Box and Playstation sales.
If a Nintendo cons...
That's what I believe as well.
It will be an ultra powerful handheld with PS4 level graphics.
But you can use it as a home console.
From Iwata's speeches (may he RIP), he said about Nintendo spreading themselves too thin having to support two systems.
You know there is a Zelda game coming out this year ... but its not on Wii U.
It hurts a lot that Nintendo doesn't get third party support ... so ...
