Being exactly USD 1,345,403,657.55 at todays ROE then!
Are there quality settings to tweak like on the PSP.. with that it was fine once I found the right settings for my connection etc.
Fine, for online play and things associated with it i.e. CGC (albeit I don't agree with charging for online play alone), but why make it mandatory for things that with any sensible reasoning should be free?
$60 a year! yes I can afford that as I earn £45k (circa $73k a year).. but should I be paying it? what next.. $70, $80, $90 a year.. where does it end? Is it really necessary? are you getting value for money vs other gaming platforms?
I would love...
Having read the above comments I would say that whilst I don't have a huge issue with MS charging for online play the fact that they are should reflect in new and innovative game releases.. however (imo) that isn't the case.
Fine, if MS want to charge for online play then let it be just that, 'Online Play', not all of the other things which should otherwise be free or which are being charged separately anyway.
I find it hard to fathom that a G...
Weird, the official site still shows job vacancies for Studio Liverpool! :/

Sad if true, I can't find the source for the official Sony statement even though...
I think it will depend on how heavily titles depend on the Wii U Pad.
It will take away processing power from the main unit and they will have to consider whether pad usage is an option as otherwise the graphics from single player (no pad) to two players (with pads) would be far to noticeable.
Pedophila game.. here we come!
Where do you intend to draw the limits then eh?
I can't believe you got 76 agrees for games including whatever subject you want including Pedophila!
Wronguns!
The lines between gen's are somewhat blurred... and imo for the next gen this will be even more true.. hence the reluctance of MS or Sony to reveal next gen consoles yet.
Whilst I don't agree with 'all' the fanboy remarks regarding Nintendo I have to say that with the WiiU they have no one to blame but themselves due to the lack of information and detail released for the console itself which will be on shop shelves in just a few months time.
If they weren't ready they should have waited until they were.. if they are confident why didn’t they give the big sell on the console itself?!?!
Instead it feels more like...
I can see this article being completely trolololed!
On topic, I kind of agree with @Lior for a 2014 release.
Personally I don't see this happening or even how it would work.
Not sure what the point of this would be but it is late afternoon and I've had a few beers in the sun so perhaps I'm missing something!
Agreed.. the 360 is only basic hardware after all!
4gb HDD
DVD drive
512 MB of basic 700MHz GDDR3 RAM
Controler (not rechargable out of the box)
It would be difficult for Sony to make such a cheap console!
True, but I'm sure Sony have more than a few unannounced new IP's in the works so I would imagine they would give details of family focused games seperatly from Gamescom... but you never know!
It never is!! :O *faints from the shock of it all*
Wasn't this option always available i.e. enabling or disabling smoothing and scaling ???
Dora is a very underrated game by the way!
@clearelite 'The Last Guardian' was confirmed as still being in development a couple of days by Sony's Worldwide Studio President: Shuhei Yoshida.
And thank god, as there is another game I can't wait to get my hands on!
They don't need the next xbox though do they!
To be clear:-
1. This is a media streaming device and not the PS3 Slim.
2. I understand that some units were dropped and Sony, as a conscientious company, are checking that no damaged units hit the market.
Assuming the PS3's sales mirror, even in part, that of its predecessor, there is no doubt that it will eventually sell more units than the 360 and even perhaps the Wii!
Even on the handheld front the PSP is selling well for an 8 year old console
Sony's consoles and thus their games both have long legs!
Why should these things be added to the 360 paid service though.. how are they a bonus for a paid service when Facebook, YouTube and Twitter are things that are accessible free everywhere else?
The answer is that MS have cottoned on that it will give the people who pay for it a false sense of ‘worth’.. and seemingly its worked!
