Yeah because the amount of work for both games were completely identical...Why even bother since you already know the story? The people that have waited 20 years for this don't care.

TBH, this game looks and plays like a bad, outdated MMO.

It would have been even better back in 2004 when everyone was still a noob and still trying to figure things out. I'm sure someone is already 60 and putting together a 40 man raid.

Why would anyone want to play with this abomination looking thing than actual Geralt?

You mean "bought by".

I'd rather see what Elden Ring can bring to the table.

@SegaGamer Don't get me wrong, I'm not praising this at all. It's genius but it's also a pretty scummy thing to do.

Why on Earth would they want to make it commercially viable? If they release it, it'll be open season for reviews and with a released game comes certain expectations and obligations. If they stay in "early access" and just keep adding feature creep, they can make money forever without having to deliver anything at all. It's pretty damn genius.

Did it go somewhere?

I think its just a timed exclusive. Sony has to be pouring money into this as well and with Square just focusing on one console, they can pump it out faster. Once all the games are done, it'll go to other consoles.

Elder Scrolls 6 probably isn't even in full production since they said their priority was Starfield first and we still haven't seen anything yet.

The title is just misleading. The article is just pointing out that Sony and Nintendo are similar to each other in regards that they both develop strong first party titles that can only be played on their system and its a good thing for both companies.Whereas Microsoft is gradually moving to a "games as a service" model.

FF13 wasn't the greatest but I think if any game does deserve a...reimagining with a new story, it'd be 13. They really screwed that game with that corridor progression crap.

Anyone remember the days of Night Trap?

They have no idea how big FF7 is. The thought of them cramming the entirety of FF7 into one game is idiotic. That is for a game that is releasing in just 9 months from now. If they had said that FF7 would be releasing in 2027 for the PS6, sure thing, after that long, I'd expect a full game too even if it has to come on its own 1TB SSD.

@shaun mcwayne, then simply either don't buy it just wait until the whole thing finishes. The entire game is being reworked to expan...

@Rachel_Alucard Yeah, because your entire argument is based on a tweet that the guy says they had to redesign the Honeybee event is somehow "not surpassing the original". Yeah, because one cross dressing scene completely defines the entirety of FF7. Get real.

@Rachel_Alucard Good to know that Square is remaking the entirety of FF7 and your sole crying and focal matter is over a cross dressing scene that they're still doing but are redesigning the interior of the Honey Bee Inn. Nothing you say should ever be taken seriously. You're a joke.
