The lighting **alone** in Killzone 2 absolutely SPANKS anything ANY game has EVER brought to the table.
In a 25 minute developer video I watched, in one level there are over FIVE HUNDRED dynamic light sources.
That is unheard of. Totally amazing. I about sh!t my pants when I heard that.
Excuse me...you've just been reported for personally attacking me.
I NEVER give negative bubbles to people unless they personally attack me, just like you did!
Congratulations, you just got negative feedback!
I don't take people's bubbles away...I state my opinion, attempt to be realistic, and then wait for responses, and start over again!
How dare you call me an @sshole, when you know me NOT as a person, but as an faceless avatar on...
I own all systems from the 6th and 7th generations.
I'm realistic about what is capable on certain consoles and what is not.
You know nothing about me, so making presumptions is out of the question for you.
**EDIT**
"uhhh....stfu"
wow....how profound.
Grow up.
unfortunately that demo's not on 360 hardware.
It's on a Windows Vista Intel Core 2 Quad PC, that's probably got 2 gigs of ram and a terabyte of storage space, and it was probably all running from the hard drive, and it's probably got a graphics card that would blow your mind.
I highly doubt this game will be able to stay above 30 fps on the 360. I can guarantee you that demo was running at least around 90-100 fps.
I don't know how people can disag...
This looks like the Source Engine....
and the Textures suck ass...
Oh and look at the small amount of particles in the second screen....lol I could count those big chunks easily!
If something caused those cars to fly up in the air like that, you'd see a little more than a few softball-sized chunks and some brown in the air!
Hyper-realistic....my ass!
lol
Eight Days will be far more impressive than this! ...
is going to blow chunks.
FPS MMO?
Give me a break.....lol this game will degrade into fools blasting each other en masse...
And yet ANOTHER game to use Unreal Engine. That just pisses me off. Seems nobody wants to dip into the creativity well these days. Or....nobody has a money hat that's deep enough, ha.
200 gigs?????
Really?
*craps pants*
That's 5 times the size of my laptop hard drive.....
This got approved? It has like....15 reports!
Can an admin please delete this story before it gets out of control?
@Krazy Ken Kutagari
You are in no place to make judgments regarding the character of Geurrilla Games' employees, and what you said just now is incredibly rude and totally uncalled for.
Image doctoring is a common, and for the most part, accepted practice amongst those in the game industry.
Killzone 2 will be the most graphically and aurally accomplished game in recent memory. This game is, even now, blowing other games' production values out of the...

First off, don't grammar troll. That's lame.
And now to pick YOUR response apart:
- "you's" isn't a word
- nonetheless is spelled without hyphens
- where's the apostrophe after the n in can't?
- don't forget the period at the end of your last sentence
Does that help you?
*rolls eyes*
It's the Sega Genesis.
NBA Jam brings back some of the fondest memories in my gaming life.

interesting indeed....*strokes beard*
Don't have any place making comments or statements about anything other than.....
yes, you guessed it.
TV.
The blame finger is a very common thing in modern society, and it is only a sign of weakness, when used.
It means that you are not willing to recognize that you, yourself, may have a problem (or problems) that you should deal with first before attacking others.
This is a sign that Tom Brokaw, and most likely other...
Is already out for the Wii.
Nintendo claimed that they were not directly competing with Sony or Microsoft.
So therefore, neither Sony fans nor Microsoft fans are really worried about how well the console sells.
In fact....I think everybody likes to see Nintendo sell product, because everybody loves Nintendo, whether they know it or not.
Come on....who doesn't love Mario, eh?
=)
P.S. I think Nintendo dese...
Unfortunate for AMD, considering they just merged with ATI to try and form some huge semiconductor conglomerate.
Too bad it's failing pretty badly in comparison with Intel.
I wonder if one day, to squish out AMD / ATI, Intel possibly might buy nVidia?
I think that would be the dagger to the heart of AMD /ATI.
No portal gun would take the place of my girlfriend...
@ original poster:
Sometimes I think GamesRadar thinks too much for its own good. Feminist critique? Flawlessly executed at what it tries to do?
What, are you saying that men aren't competent at accomplishing things well that they set their minds on?
Basically...you're saying women are only capable of flawless execution, while men only flawed execution?
Yyyyyyeahh...
I've never had problems with CompUSA...
I actually got my first computer there!
Oh well...I guess everything has an end.
The wonder and creativity this game inspires nearly brought me to tears the first time I saw it.
This is what the gaming community needs.
THIS is real, artful expression that transcends anything before it, and this game will be remembered for years....decades...and I guarantee you that it will be the influence for many a game after.
