but I didn't see any crazy frame drops.
Who knows....I might end up playing this on PS3 after all.
:|
This is cool....but....so NOT cool at the same time....*shudders*
This game (along with a few others) shall herald the return of PlayStation as a dominant household name.
=)
The 360 does not render ANYTHING at 1080p, smartypants.
It renders at 720p and scales it up.
Sorry!
=D
*you can research that too, if ya like ;-)
Although if you weren't referring to the 360 rendering it higher than 720p, then you can disregard my comment =)
HA!
I just noticed that whoever was playing the PS3 version had just pressed select to QUICKSAVE the game while on the watercraft!
Didn't anyone notice that?
No WONDER the framerate sucked ass there....he was saving the goddamned game!
Watch it again....look at the PS3 screen.
The 360 version wasn't quicksaving....well, actually, the 360 version doesn't have the quicksave feature.
that a game as stellar as half-life should have to deal with an @sshole like Gabe Newell, AND suffer through an incompetent PS3 port with shoddy framerates.
I will NOT, I repeat, NOT, play this game without having a fully smooth experience. That's the only way this game should be played.
I shouldn't have to deal with the game slowing down to 15 fps while driving the watercraft. That's just shoddy developer work.
Yeah, so the game looks slightly bet...
or I will lose interest in Command & Conquer forever.
Funny....I lost most of my interest in the series after Red Alert...to me, that was the last good series in the C & C universe.
As for EA being at the helm for this one....I don't believe they'll make a competent PS3 version.
I frankly don't trust EA's ability to program for the PS3. It's like they don't care or even want to try or take the time to learn.
That makes me sad...
Gabe Newell is an @sshole.
not suprising at all. The DS has beat every system out since its release.
Boring.
I own 25 blu-ray films.
Maybe because I work at Blockbuster....(which supports blu-ray now), but still...I paid for them.
I have taken it upon myself to ask my customers whether they use their PS3 for Blu-Ray movies, and they all (or most of them) said....yeah! It's great! It's really hard to go back to watching regular DVDs!
This assumption that people don't use their PS3s for BLu-Ray watching is false.
Unless you have gone to every...
I look at lightning and I see myself about a year ago...
Does anyone want to know my problems I had choosing a system?
No?
Ok, well here it is anyways:
First next-gen system owned - Xbox 360 (duh)
360 broke - got another one (duh)
360 broke again - got mad at next gen gaming and got a DS
DS was too kiddy for me - Bought a PSP
PSP was too weak for me - sold it and got a PS3
...
I know why they tried to hide this piece of crap.
There's no new gameplay, and it's just stupid live action crap that is not representative of the second game at all.
This trailer, put plainly, is stupid. Lame. Not even worthy of being called a game trailer.
I might see this as a Rainbow Six MOVIE trailer....
Harry Potter is a highly engrossing and very engaging set of fantastical stories that manages to capture the mind of anyone who chooses to read it.
I, for one, HAVE read the Harry Potter books, and seen the movies, and they keep getting better, and more dark, and as the characters mature there are more and more adult themes that are coming into the overall storyline.
Harry Potter is evolving along with the generation of teens that started reading it.
still stands.
**imagine**
Your favorite movie is coming out on HD-DVD and Blu-Ray, and you're waiting for a review of the movie, and you are always checking your favorite HD-DVD site for the impending review...
Then the following morning, there's the review!
But wait....
it's the Blu-ray review....
but that's ok, because the content is exactly the same, right?
WRONG

Are you talking about HVB when this is about pain?
o_O
= GREAT value and replayability.
Why the hell this is in the PS3 section when it's a preview of the 360 version is slightly puzzling to me.
AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAhAHA HHHHAHAHAHAHAHA
Unless Nintendo can release more quality games, then the Wii will become an also-ran, and will be quickly forgotten about, and only remembered as a fad.
What shocks me is that Nintendo no longer has a concept approval process, as they did pre-2003.
After 2003, Nintendo removed the words "of quality" from their "Nintendo Seal of quality"
So basically, if you can make it for the Wii, and submit it to Nintendo....there's your wii g...
I honestly don't see a tennis game being any sort of benchmark whatsoever for the Playstation 3.
I laugh at this article.
